Boden Henley Tunic ...

Ordered this www.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Womens-Tunics/WK526/Womens-Henley-Knitted-Tunic.html from Boden. It's lovely on - in the damson colour - but I'm not sure how to accessorise it. I would plan to wear it with jeans and flat boots mostly but maybe sometimes with heels. Not sure if jeans should be in or out? Also think it probably needs a scarf - that's okay but what about a coat? Would a long cardigan be okay over it on a cold day - of which we have plenty ahead, no doubt . Have last year's version of this www.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Womens-Knitwear/Cardigans/WK541/Womens-Long-Stitch-Cardigan.html in a beige/oaty colour and that's the only thing I would have to wear over it. Would welcome advice please cos must decide whether to keep or return it . Thanks!

Scarf (bright, patterned or striped) or long in yer face beads or pendant. Jeans in I reckon.I would wear it with a cardigan-textures too similar but a coat would be fine.

I would wear it with a cardigan I think but somehow the combo of oatmeal and damson isn't working for me (other than in a dessert of some description) ... think you're better off with charcoal or black .... also, I'm not keen on doubling-up on detail so am wary of scarf/ long beads with the buttons on the tunic (I have bought the henley dress so have pondered all of these things) ... would definitely wear with a wrap, however - but a big one, like a blanket, none of these mincey little pashminas

I love it - am considering buying too. I would wear on its own with skinny jeans and boots or leggings.

I have this in blue which I wear with skinny jeans (am wearing it right now actually!). I wear a long necklace with it and if I need a coat I have a long one as short coats and long tops is an odd combination.

Oh brilliant ... thanks for the replies! Yes, the cardigan isn't great with it but I was stuck! Could pull black coat on which would look okay. Had decided to send it back as I've spent waaaaay too much but, having said that tunics mean 'pregnancy', DH really likes it and has offered to treat me to it , so maybe I'll take it out of the returns pile!
