I want them but fear my heifer calves would be too big.

Fab bargain though.

Lizzylou Tue 15-Sep-09 11:34:00

Oh goodness, I so want those.
Will the housekeeping budget take it though????
I need them........

BornToFolk Tue 15-Sep-09 11:34:07

Me too but they do look really slim...unlike my calves.
Get in there, skinny-calve MNers!

stillfrazzled Tue 15-Sep-09 11:35:10

I have ordered them, but I ordered the brown ones and didn't get them so we shall see.

In the (unlikely) event that I do get them, is there a MNer out there with a pair of size 7 browns that might swap...?

roomforthree Tue 15-Sep-09 11:40:32

Have just ordered, thanks for posting op.

The brown boots from last week, which Office said were sold out in my size, are back on the site in size 5 only here.

Lizzylou Tue 15-Sep-09 11:41:06

I have ordered them.
Will have to be inventive with the food this month!
I hope I get them now......

chattermouse Tue 15-Sep-09 11:44:33

OOOhh thank you stillfrazzled!!!! I have wanted these but stopped myself following MASSIVE boden spend for me and the kids. At £40 i will take the extra hit though! I have ordered them in size 7. Should be fine as calves are skinny as heck. I know some people did not get them last time, so here is hoping that ours show up soon!

chattermouse Tue 15-Sep-09 11:53:34

Just looked at Schuch online and the same boots are retailing for £124.99! Oh i do hope they show up!

chattermouse Tue 15-Sep-09 11:55:22

By the way, did we ever decide what happened last time with the £40 boots in brown? Was the posting at £40 a genuine mistake on office's part or just some kind of promotional gimmick to get traffic to the site and attract new customers?

stillfrazzled Tue 15-Sep-09 11:56:37

Dunno. But I remain convinced that there's only one kind of dark brown boot and they pulled a fast one, for whatever reason. angry

listenglisten Tue 15-Sep-09 11:56:54

These are so tempting, I got some of the brown ones @ £40 and a complete bargain.

thehairybabysmum Tue 15-Sep-09 11:58:57

Thanks so much...missed them last week, though got some fly shoes for £30 though. Have jsut ordered the brown ones.

might have to reconsider my non-religous status as theere clearly is a god as i am a size 5!!!

tattycoram Tue 15-Sep-09 11:59:18

Chattermouse, I got some of the brown ones last week. Came in two days and only £40.

brokenspacebar Tue 15-Sep-09 12:10:30

Not sure I could stand the disappointment again! lol, I am also a size 5, my order was cancelled last week.

I think these will be fine ladies, the page doesn't look like last week they are clearly stating that these are reduced, I missed the brown ones dithering last week and I hate black footwear, shame.

Just measured my calves - 39cm... there isnt a snowball's chance in hell of them fitting so will not bother... gggrr

brokenspacebar Tue 15-Sep-09 12:14:55

Ruby there is a review on amazon, people were happy with the sizing, though they are slim fitting....

chattermouse Tue 15-Sep-09 12:15:17

God, i hope you are all right! I would love to get these!

Ruby - i have not ever tried them on sorry so don't know re fit but people on here say they are tight on the calf.

Lizzylou Tue 15-Sep-09 12:16:20

Well, if they ever do show they probably won't fit me as I have wide fat size 8 feet and my calves whilst slim for my 5ft9" sturdy frame could never be called willowy!

Oh well, it was good whilst it lasted sad

TheBalladofGayTony Tue 15-Sep-09 12:16:35

i just tried to pay twice and nothing so i am giving up
