I want it

You're probably alone in being able to pay for it. I'm sorry but very few people could justify paying that for a blouse - perhaps a wedding dress or mother of the bride etc but a blouse that will probably be discarded next season?

LucyOnTheSchoolRunWithDiamonds Wed 09-Sep-09 23:29:57

shock who ever said I could afford it???!!!

LucyOnTheSchoolRunWithDiamonds Wed 09-Sep-09 23:30:21

or would???!!

cookielove Wed 09-Sep-09 23:30:54

erm yuck

Drusilla Wed 09-Sep-09 23:31:54

It's a bit pirate-esque

There are some Chloe pieces in the V and A fashion mini-exhibition. They really are beautiful pieces of engineering + fantasy + romance. As is that.

"perhaps a wedding dress or mother of the bride etc but a blouse that will probably be discarded next season?"

What, as opposed to the very next day???
It never fails to astonish me how people justify spending large amounts of money on wedding outfits but baulk at shelling out for every day items (jeans are a prime example)

sorry but yuk regardless of the money - unless you are a real beauty and can carry it off, in the same way as looking delightful in a bin bag
I bet you're gorgeous

ClaudiaSchiffer Thu 10-Sep-09 00:35:00

Sorry Lucy but it's hideous.

Those fleshy colour frills make her arm look as if it's diseased.

thumbwitch Thu 10-Sep-09 00:47:34

urgh. Too twee for words and vastly over-priced, plus the colour is vile.

Sorry Lucy - looks like you're on your own with that one.

DrEvil Thu 10-Sep-09 07:26:33

I love it too; am not tall or skinny enough to pull it off but I bet it looks fabulous on the right shape person.

CybilLiberty Thu 10-Sep-09 07:28:01

I think I could rustle up a similar look with a tan body stocking and several pairs of 40 deniers

JodieO Thu 10-Sep-09 07:49:17

I think it's horrible.

EleanoraBuntingCupcake Thu 10-Sep-09 07:51:06

snort @ diseased arm. it is revolting.

Sycamoretreeisvile Thu 10-Sep-09 07:53:28

I think you are alone....but tis no bad thing to be a lone voice with your own style wink

dexter73 Thu 10-Sep-09 08:05:03

It is truly horrible! Can't beleive it has nearly sold out!!

Jewelsandgems Thu 10-Sep-09 08:05:41

Agree with cherry, a beautiful garment. Would I wear it? Not a good colour for me...

And lucy, totally agree about how it's surely better to spend lots of money on something that gets lots of wear (like jeans), than say a wedding dress (worn once then hidden away forever)

Flamesparrow Thu 10-Sep-09 08:08:43

I'm with the diseased arm people.

Attacking Lucy about the price is shit though - there are loads of threads with extortionately priced clothes linked.

ClaudiaSchiffer Thu 10-Sep-09 09:25:46

oooo, I like these boots from the same site.

ClaudiaSchiffer Thu 10-Sep-09 09:31:27

Oh gawd, I've gotta stop looking at expensive clothes, there's loads i'd like but can't afford.

Also some shocking "fashion-eaten-itself" type stuff though, which is tremendously entertaining grin

AvadaKedavra Thu 10-Sep-09 09:33:21

It's vile.

Rollmops Thu 10-Sep-09 13:27:32

Trying waaaaaaay too hard with this ....
The label on the 'other shoulder' reads quite clearly " Fashion Victim".

LucyOnTheSchoolRunWithDiamonds Thu 10-Sep-09 19:47:52

guess I will continue to bedazzle and beguile on the school run with my, ahem, unique sense of style, then...

AnyFucker Thu 10-Sep-09 19:51:46

at the risk of sounding bitter (moi ??) because of the extortionate price, it really is awful

money cannot buy you taste.......
