What do you use to organise your life perfectly?

I have used a Filofax for donkeys' years...but while it worked well for just me, I never feel quite organised enough these days with family stuff to juggle.

What do you all carry in your handbags diary-wise, to jot things down, shove in receipts or bits and bobs maybe, and glance at easily? I've been looking at Organised Mum's website but am not sure...any ideas? I'd quite like something maybe that you can zip around to hold things in...

PS this is to be portable and with me all the time; I have a family calendar in the kitchen already.

Thanks!

I use a Smythson filofax which I love as its large enough to fit in everyone's info, store receipts etc and v stylish. The diary section is "week to view" but you can buy different types (page a day etc).

At home I use a family calendar from Organised Mum which has a pocket in the back. In there I put all letters from school relating to future events so that I can check what exactly the DCs may need the day before or so. Once the event has passed I bin it.

I no longer have a diary or notebook in my handbag since I got a Blackberry. It's fantastic and I use the notepad function a lot when I'm out and about. At home I have an A4 filofax in a zip up folder that I use for family diary/stuff/school stuff etc and put the appropriate pieces of paper in the diary or tuck in the folder. It also doubles as an address book and has pages to hold business cards.

I've tried various other methods and combinations and this works best for me
