and what practical considerations?

Colour. Waterproof or wool?

Boy or girl? I bought a nice lined denim swing coat for dd(nearly 9) for £12 this week.

This coat, I bought my dd for school. It looks a thousand times better in rl. It has a nice pleat all the way around the bottom.

Zara is a good place to try too.

Sorry!
Off doing tedious dutiful stuff.

Girl (duh!!! to myself)

Hmm, would rather wool than waterproof, but then face tedious possibility of buying more than 1.
That M&S number is very nice.

What about the M & S one and then a waterproof number from Millets.

moondog Thu 03-Sep-09 23:39:09

Good idea! smile

Better still if can complete all online.
I have zero time to shop.

Fimbo Thu 03-Sep-09 23:48:06

Right the M & S one and this.

moondog Thu 03-Sep-09 23:58:28

Blimey, that was painless.
Many thanks.
I will now go back to less dutiful task of lusting over Isabelle Oliver cardigans.

There is an absolutely beautiful blue (pretty bright blue, like an aqua-ish) wool Butterfly by MW coat at Debenhams. It is really lovely and I have almost bought it twice!
It is not on the website, but they do mail order if you call the shops. It is a swing style and has nice buttons.

There are also some pretty wool ones at TK Maxx in purple, red, navy and grey.
