I ordered this dress from Bodenwww.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Sale/Womens-Dresses/WH153/Womens-Jersey-Maxi-Dress.htmlAbout a week after I expected it to arrive, I rang them to find out where it was.All they said was "oh yes. sorry, we don't have it. Didn't we tell you?"Erm.... am a bit peed off, firstly cos it was definitely in stock when I ordered it, and secondly cos no one bothered to contact me to let me know I wasn't going to get it!Anyway, that's not the reason I'm writing. (honest!)Can anyone suggest an alternative?I'm 5ft6 and size 16.... I just want something simple I can wear to work, but can't afford to spend any more than the £36 this was going for.Have never posted here before, but thought I'd try....
here A bit more than £36 but better quality iMO
oh wow! I've never seen this site before. thanks Oh dear! I've already spotted a few things I want from there, and that's in the 2 minutes since I clicked on your link. I love the cross-over tops and the 6 way wrapI shall keep browsing....
oh that choogirls one is much much nicer.looks liek they did you a favour!
I agree! ... just hoping to slip a few things from there onto the credit card without DH noticing!(oh how liberated I sound.... )
i like the crossover and 6 way too.nice choicesi like the damson and raspberry top n chocolate wrap.
yup! exactly what I was looking at!But they're out of stock on the crossover tops. Will get them to contact me maybe...
Give them a call - think the new stock comes in about 4 weeks.
Think I might do that tomorrow before I chicken out. It's more than I usually spend on things, but if I could get the top and the wrap I might go for it (don't really want to pay delivery twice too). thanks for your help
think of cost per wear, there the sort of things you could wear alot.
Thanks for the link to that site CHOOGIRL. I have a dinner coming up and I've got two new Boden dresses at home to choose from but I think I'd rather go for that maxi dress and a 6 way wrap instead. Thanks for the thread picc.
