So tell me about the Boden Cloudspotter Mac...

I am very excited as it was offer of the day yesterday and i took the plunge! I got it for £60 instead of £89 so very pleased (i used a 15% discount code on top of the the 20% discount).

So tell me, is it nice? I got the multi print as i think it will look good with pretty much anything. Is is in any way warm? I sized up to a 10 (am an 8-10) anticipating that i can put lots of layers under it in the winter if neccesary. I plan on wearing it everyday on the school run. Hopefully it will keep me dry. It is my first boden purchase so hopefully will be pleased with it.

I also have my eye on the tank top, ditsy print top and partsieen top. Does anyone know if i have missed any of these on offer of the day so far?

Thanks!

chattermouse - I ordered one yesterday as well at the £60 . Don't know yet if I actually want to keep it, but will hopefull decide when I see it. Am really undecided about what sort of coat I need. I ordered 2 sizes to try them

What colour did you go for? I was torn between the red and the multi! I agonised for a good 2 hours! In the end i went for the multi. I stil really like the red though and hope i have not made a mistake! Thats the problem with online shopping, if they were side by side in a shop you would know straight away at putting them on which colour was more you iykwim.

It did seem like a great reduction though, and if i wear it every day till summer it will represent good value i am telling myself !

I got the green one, although i also agonised. I would have ordered a couple of colours, but this seemed like overkill since I also ordered 2 sizes!

My trouble is I also have my eye on the biker jacket. I need to get over my current coat-seeking obsession! Let me know what you think of yours when it arrives - hopefully not too long!

chattermouse, what code did you use to get a further 15% off please?

Will do. i liked the green too! Like the multi i think that one will look good with most things you have on underneath. Generally i would naturally favour red but thought that in a coat it might clash a some outfits.

Ikwym re wanting the next item already! I will be watching deal of the day closely. I have not seen the biker jacket (will have a look). Maybe it will come up on the daily deal? The tank tops are lovely, but the colours i like are sold out at mo . Let me know when your mac arrives too!

So that means that todays cropped cashmere machine washable cardigan is only £53.72 with free p&p.

Hmmmm.........

I was looking at these but was worried that they were "too boden" iykwim. Look forward to hearing what they are like in real life.

BTW you can get an extra 5% off on top of these deals via the cash back websites. Can't be bothered to link but I think I did one on the money saving board.

thanks but it still isn't letting me use it in conjunction with the offer of the day.

maybe they noticed people were doing it and stopped it? I'll give it a go in a minute to see if it works for me.....

It's working for me. Did you click on the offer of the day and go in that way and then enter the other code?

Report
chattermouse · 01/09/2009 11:44

It worked for me by clicking on offer of the day, then put it in basket, go to checkout, then on voucher code box, delete the one that is already in there and put in the 15% off one. it should work. The email i had from boden re the 15% off code expressly said it would work on top of the deal of the day discount so you are allowed to use it this way.

Laurie- yes, you're right about the price on the cardi, tempted eh ?

Muddleduck - will report back on mac once received. They are undeniably boden, but i've checked Marks, Next, White co and fat face and all macs are v.mundane. boden patterened ones will brighten up a rainy day i hope!

BTW, this offer is also around at the mo, £10 off £30, but don't know if you can use it on top of deal of the day. i am about to have a go with it. Am going to make different purchases of as close to £30 to get the deal twice iykwim, so should save £20 instead of £10 overall.

XNHT is valid until 28th November which is a £10 off £30 spend .

The mac worked out better anyway to get the 15% off, as was more than £10 saving that way.

thanks chattermouse, I was wanting a £30 code as the other one had expired!

I can't claim credit allnew, i just saw the code on the promotional code board on here . In view of this happy find, i am now bracing myself now to order some crew tops and the tanks i want. How does it work, can you order something that is out of stock, it says a 3 week wait?

OP posts:
Report
pleasechange · 01/09/2009 11:58

Yes, so you place the order and then in a few weeks they'll send confirmation that it's been despatched (and the best bit is you don't pay until it's in stock ).

Lovely! Am getting a couple of round neck crew tops to wear under too cos (as have just pointed out on other thread!) with £10 off £30, 2 x £17 crews come in at £24 with free p&p. So £12 a crew and even Primark charge about £8 for similar so would be rude not to buy really.....(or that's how i will rationalise it to dp anyway.....)

thanks ladies
I have just saved loads of money and because I was hunting round on the site, I found the double layer Jersey dress that I was going to buy is in the sale with last seasons colours and so I have bought this and a pair of jeans for each of the boys and spent £56 instead of £98

i think that is why I am going on a dress thing... I am now out of the feedign and bum changing thing so feel like I can buy some nicer clothes for myself! I really missed wearing dresses when I was BF, I used to buy dresses that had side zips and then contorted my boob through te hole, but obviously only worked on one side and bought us enough time to get to somewhere I could take it off
