Boden fixed wrap knitted dress - does anyone have it?

would the crossover bit allow for breastfeeding, if pulled down? I read a review that said the wearer needed a camisole so presumably there is some kind of opening/ the crossover is not stitched together?

LetThemEatCake Thu 27-Aug-09 18:34:37

sorry - this dress

love the useful cake blocking view of dress hmm Styling genius, that

cornsillk Thu 27-Aug-09 18:36:50

There's a video there which gives a better idea.

LetThemEatCake Thu 27-Aug-09 18:38:47

oh my god. Can't believe you made me watch that

<<goes and pukes in corner>>

what is she simpering about?????

tulpe Thu 27-Aug-09 19:11:51

looks identical to the merino cross over tunic (still available in the sale)

only one colour/size left here

I have that tunic in magenta. The cross over is very loose and you do need a cami beneath, really. I think it may allow for bfing.

tulpe Thu 27-Aug-09 19:12:42

oh and it is definitely thick enough to wear over opaques or leggings as a dress.....or at least I am intending to

traceybath Thu 27-Aug-09 19:14:45

Oh my god - thats hilarious.

Looks very clingy to me - how much longer to go ltec? I had dc3 5 wks ago . . .

<pelts cornsilk with cottonwool balls>
smile how are you?
i'm good been missing half the summer, rl has been mad including getting the dreaded swine flu!

anyway back to the dress, ys i like it, i would perhaps wear a nursing vest underneath, for a bit more nork coverage.
i love the green one

cornsillk Thu 27-Aug-09 19:42:56

Carrie have you namechanged? I'm thinking that cottonwool balls are a clue grin

LetThemEatCake Thu 27-Aug-09 19:53:36

congrats tracey!! I've been thinking of you - hope all is going well. Did you have a boy or girl?

I've got 4 weeks to go .... definitely ready for a new wardrobe... grin

tuple - argh!!! that tunic would be good but I don't like the colour t's available in. But what a bargain! how annoying!! I am pretty tall though so I dunno about wearing over tights/ leggings, esp not with post-partum legs... blush

You can almost smell the vomit on that models breath.

cornsillk Thu 27-Aug-09 20:03:24

Platesmasher has your drunken splurge arrived yet?

CarrieDababi Thu 27-Aug-09 20:05:45

good clue isn't it grin

i'm going to post pictures of my actual house on here to get ideas on decorating.

Platesmasher Thu 27-Aug-09 20:06:15

Yes, addressed to Wing Commander Platesmasher!

Then the next day a letter arrived from boden and i started to panic that is was a warning that as i was a wing commander I would be getting called up, and i'd be off to iraq in my flattering wool dress and quite frankly unprepared for battle.

Dress is nice, just have to figure out if it can be accessorized into a wedding outfit.

cornsillk Thu 27-Aug-09 20:07:48

I was wondering where you'd got to missus. Good to see you back on!

cornsillk Thu 27-Aug-09 20:08:38

PMSL at Wing Commander! grin That's proper pissed that is!

CarrieDababi Thu 27-Aug-09 20:09:32

thanks cornysmile
how are you? had a good summer?

Platesmasher Thu 27-Aug-09 20:10:27

<not getting the clues>

joliejolie Thu 27-Aug-09 20:11:57

OMG!! That model probably wears the same size as my dd. Surely she is a Mini Boden model!

Why why why why why don't they use average size models? Even two models, one for the 14's and one for the 8's. How are we supposed to know how that looks over love handles?

CarrieDababi Thu 27-Aug-09 20:12:55

omg ps you did a drunken boden order as Wing Commander Platesmasher! that is brillgrin

cornsillk Thu 27-Aug-09 20:19:24

I've had a nice Summer thanks Carrie. Swine flu sounds grim - we've not had much of it where we are yet. Have you been busy RLing all Summer then? I'm in awe of your self-control. I spend far too much time on here.

Platesmasher Thu 27-Aug-09 20:20:46

There were so many options for title when i was entering my details.
I couldn't NOT be wing commander!

cornsillk Thu 27-Aug-09 20:21:56

There's a wing commander option on Boden!

CarrieDababi Thu 27-Aug-09 20:25:03

Well dh is in the very last few months of his accountants training [taken 6 years!]
so i'm sort of a single mum these days, until mid dec

dd is napping less, somedays not at all.shock

so somedays im on the go before 8 till dd goes bed about 8 then i still have things to do!
as i have to do EVERYTHING atm
roll on christmas!

next year will be much easier, well thats what i keep telling myselfgrin

CarrieDababi Thu 27-Aug-09 20:30:39
