Gold espadrille style wedges in Clarks - shall I?

Want some shoes to wear with new dress that look pretty but slightly funky rather than overly dressy.

I cant find them on the clarks website

they have rope espadrille wedge heels and gold leather straps.

IMHO gold leather looks a bit cheap and tacky, and teamed up with espadrilles.........ewwwwwww

raspberry pink crumpled silk, bias cut, v-neck, cap sleeve, below the knee, floppy flower corsage on one shoulder

And on reading the description of the dress I defo say no to the shoes.

Wedges are in at the mo, but no to espadrilley things, they look like horse fodder.

No, go for strappy wedges methinks. Maybe in a colour to match or contrast the dress.

What shops have you got a choice of? Do you have a Schuu or Office?

we have: New Look, top shop, clarks

or

very expensive old womens designery boutiques

the shop I bought the dress from is lovely (mmm noa noa kids clothes) but they dont do shoes
