Please help me find shoes for my (non-white) wedding dress

I am getting married in a couple of weeks, and have decided on this dress but have no idea what shoes to wear!

I tried some LK Bennett heels, which were beautiful, but they were too narrow for my giant feet.

I need to get the shoes decided before I can choose the colour of the bouquet, so am getting desperate

Would be grateful for your help (have name-changed in the v unlikely event that someone knows me - we have not made news of the wedding public )

Heh? A non public wedding? What about the wedding list?

Anyhoo, shoes. I reckon SILVER or a matchy blue, which could be problematic. I will look for silver. What size are you giant feet?

saying that, if these matched the creamy white colour on the dress they could be cute

not dressy enough?

Are the LK Bennett ones online so we know what you like?

(I love LK Bennett shoes as i have ridiculous long thin feet )

No wedding list Cybil, we've been together for twelve years, so have enough toasters . It's going to be a quiet ceremony and lunch, and then we'll tell friends and family the next day. Bit worried about the reaction, but will cross that bridge when we come to it...

I will try those cream ones, but am a bit worried that my size 7's would look a bit clod-hoppy.

These are the lovely-but-too-narrow ones - in teal or purple would have been fab.

Oh I have size 8's! I never worry about clod hoppy, and they would look fab I reckon.

Do you realise that your dress is the exact same colour as the shoes Carrie got married in (SATC)

but they would look fab

Pink shoes would be lovely (altho I don't think the patent pink ones are weddingy enough) matching pink flowers would be great

Pink would be great. I will have to get a move on before all the winter shoes are in

Were you looking at the Carmen ones, purepurple? They are fab, but I would be taller than DH-to-be, dammit.

Hmmm, well I'd say silver or pink, but if you went for silver peep toe shoe you could have pink nail varnish which woud then tie in with your bouquet.

Off to find silver shoes....

Similar style to your original ones

Not too high and a bit more weddingy IMO

Wedges?

Maybe a tad Come Dancing Styleee

Hmm not sure about these, more mauve than purple but got the right blue on them too

LK Bennet again, but wedges and maybe not dressy enough

Your dress is amazingly beautiful, StartingToPanic. Ermm, we just went & got married, with 2 friends as witnesses - we had to deal with the fall-out from DH's family for years (sorry). I like the first (ivory) shoes fwiw. Good luck.
