It's for a wedding in Australia. It could be hot-hot during the day and possibly get chilly at night.

dress

I need to be able to chase my 2 little DDs (who will be flower girls ) and would like shoes that I won't fall over in can dance all night in. Alternatives welcome...

shoes???

Would really like...
cardi or throw
bag- no idea where to look!
jewelry- chunky or delicate or just one bangle- what would you do?

Thanks!

Is it that blue spotty one?Picture keeps changing.
I don;t like those red shoes-bit frumpy. A pair of brown wedges would look snappier [also easier on the feet]

Big bead necklace maybe althoguh neckline might be a bit high? If so, chunky earrings and a few bracelets or a cuff could be good.

Clutch style bag. In brown or a different colour.Don;t get one that matches dress or jewelerry.

Oh dear! Having lived in birkenstocks and been pregnant or baby-wrangling for 3 1/2 years I have obviously lost my shoe radar.

where do I start? sandals, court shoes, which shops???

metallic- gold or silver or pewter??

If you are very slim you could do flat gladiator type sandals. If not, a silver wedge, but make it quite strappy.
Go to somewhere like Accesorize for a nice little clutch.

Some nice stuff on that site and groovy shoes [although most too chunky for frock].

I agree with metalic shoes, I'd go for a lightish gold.

Could you wear something like this? All the staps would make it quite easy to wear, I'd say and it would glam up the dress.

If you want to go for flats, this is pretty.

I find Dune great for party shoes that you're not going to wear on a daily basis, in RL they ofen look much more expensive than they really are.

How about thisfor a bracelet, you wouldn't need anything else!

The second shoe is called Krane, gold, sparkly and flat.

I am so enjoying this shopping for pretty, glam stuff as I have just spent 2 hours cleaning the house, and am about to start dinner - oh, the glamorous life

Rinkydinky, do you actually have the dress yet, it might be nice to pick up one of the colour in the pattern as a wrap, but it's hard to tell which from the photos, but maybe a green?

these would look good with dress though not sure if too high for chasing children!

I'm loving the gold strappy heels and the flats- will have to try them on but suspect that the flats will be easier. Also Aussie wedding is likely to be quite relaxed so flats would be fine.

Will deffo get myself to Dune, thanks Macherie.

I have previous experience of Karen Millen heels from my distant past and I'm not sure how much kiddie chasing I'll be able to do in them!

Need to he;lp with bathtime right now- back later

Macherie- I don't have the dress yet. I have been trying to order it tonight and have emailed them as their site isn't accepting UK credit cards. Bummer!

I WILL get my mitts on that nice dress and then I can see what the more neutral tone is and pick up on it as you say.

Rinkydinky, I saw your other thread, it's so frustrating when that happens...I hope you can get it, it's a lovely dress.
