Fed up with looking pregnant

Not sure if I've posted in right place. I am so fed up of looking pregnant. ds2 is 2.4 but I still look about 4 months pregnant.

Had 3 finger separation and with physio got it down to 1 but my belly still just hangs there. I'm quite slim and really don't want to loose any weight as this just makes it more pronounced. Still doing approx 20 tummy crunches 5 times a day but its not getting any better. Loads worse if I have been wearning a dress or leggings all day - seems like my belly needs the support of a sturdy pair of jeans.

Would wearing tummy control pants all the time make it better or worse. Thought it would give chance for muscles to knit back together if I kept up the crunches - or will it just make the muscles lazy and hang out even more. I'm only in my 20s and my belly looks like a 70 year olds.

I've got this problem too. 3 finger separation, but i never did any physio, dd is now 14 months. Did you go the hospital sessions? I am slim too and just have this awful pregnancy tummy, limits what I can wear so much. I can only think a tummy tuck would help but hate surgery.

went to GP and asked for physio - had 3 1 on 1 sessions at local hospital. Really helped at time but I think stresses and strains of daily living is causing sagging to get worse. Going to repost under general health in case there are any phsio's or midwives hangingout there.

You may find pilates will be beneficial. Worked wonders for my mummy tummy!

Book or video do or will it have to be the dreaded public en masse class?

A class if you can face it

I was dreading it too but actually, once the music gets going and you start with a lovely breathing warm up, it is actually a very enjoyable experience (one I have kept up for 2 years now, and added extra classes too!)

I think you can do the dvd thing too, but this never worked for me. I never did it wholeheartedly and the pilates class allows me time for me instead of just squeezing in watching a DVD when you have time.

My advice is give it a go, I promise you will get results, and if you like it, try and take up yoga too (my body is better now post babies then pre-babies!)
