Many of their items are now 80% off. I have ordered two pairs of trousers for a mere £30 each as opposed to stupid money I do love Toast but am always a bit shock at their prices.

Doyouthinktheysaurus Wed 22-Jul-09 12:30:56

Thanks for that.

I just ordered some trousers aswellsmile

TheRealMrsJohnSimm Wed 22-Jul-09 13:31:28

You are very welcome

Which ones did you go for? I have ordered these and these.

There are usually lots of returns at this point in the sale so worth keep checking in each day to see if a much-desired item has suddenly come back into stock

Doyouthinktheysaurus Wed 22-Jul-09 14:51:54

I ordered exactly the same onesgrin

I'm hoping they will be thick enough for autumn wear.

TheRealMrsJohnSimm Wed 22-Jul-09 14:53:15

oh me too

I was hoping that with the cotton content, they wouldn't look too obviously linen-y and therefore not too summery.

Chevre Wed 22-Jul-09 15:01:56

any nice twill mrsjohnsim?

TheRealMrsJohnSimm Wed 22-Jul-09 15:07:53

Chevre!

Quite possibly!

treedelivery Wed 22-Jul-09 15:08:25

Do the sizes come up big or small??
Am a toast virgin [though I do like a nice crumpet].

TheRealMrsJohnSimm Wed 22-Jul-09 15:10:45

Sizes are generous, ime.

flowerybeanbag Wed 22-Jul-09 15:13:39

treedelivery Wed 22-Jul-09 15:13:59

Excellent

<<fishes for credit card>>

Pruneurs Wed 22-Jul-09 15:24:06

Fab
I bought a few things - really nice!
I got a Toast skirt for £7.50 in a charity shop recently. I am cheap.

Pruneurs Wed 22-Jul-09 15:24:36

Lots of twill, goatwoman

mustsleep Wed 22-Jul-09 15:25:40

treedelivery are you still interested in that jumperoo?? grin

treedelivery Wed 22-Jul-09 15:27:14

Bugger I got one yesterday! Off ebay. Tsk!

Good you have reminded me, I shall go and empty my Toast basket. Sadly. Spent the £ on the jumperoo. Marvellous thing.

tattycoram Wed 22-Jul-09 16:46:08

By the way these sandals are cheap because they are impossible to walk in - the sole is heavy and the top is flimsy. Very odd and uncomfortable feeling. They look nice though

TheRealMrsJohnSimm Wed 22-Jul-09 19:40:45

Tatty - they look like they are uncomfortable, tbh. (BTW, where did you book for accommodation in Parga? Want to take DCs back there again next year by myself so don't want to do the villa at the top of the hill again as its abit lonely up there!)

Chevre.......am LOLing as just got an email from Toast to say order despatched. The breakdown of items says "flared trousers linen/twill".

Clearly, am onto a twill thang this season!

cornsillk Wed 22-Jul-09 19:44:22

Has anyone ordered the coco dress? I can't decide.

TheProvincialLady Wed 22-Jul-09 19:52:20

I just have. Thought it was worth a chance.

cornsillk Wed 22-Jul-09 19:54:15

The coco dress? It's difficult to see how flared/A line it is on the model as she's sat down. I'm tempted though.

TheRealMrsJohnSimm Wed 22-Jul-09 19:58:26

Cornsilk - the skirt looks quite flared to me rather than A line - it really drapes down the sides of the chair she is sitting on and in the "just the dress" photo it looks quite gathered at the front of the skirt.

TheProvincialLady Wed 22-Jul-09 20:04:44

Yes the coco dress. I'm not sure whether it will drown me though (I am only 5'2" and size 6). Sometimes that sort of thing works on me, sometimes not.

Have also ordered the aleda satin twill jacket, in graphite. We'll see.

cornsillk Wed 22-Jul-09 20:06:13

hmmm I see what you mean. Can't decide....

jujumaman Wed 22-Jul-09 20:28:51

What do we think of this?

I had my eye on it in the catalogue but not sure if I'm simply losing it and it's minging

fishie Wed 22-Jul-09 20:34:27

i saw the dress of it in rl and it is TIGHT.
