mrsmaidamess Thu 16-Jul-09 14:23:15

By that I mean that photo has rendered me speechless

filchthemildmanneredjanitor Thu 16-Jul-09 14:23:24

why? are you good with hair?

filchthemildmanneredjanitor Thu 16-Jul-09 14:23:44

it's fabulous isn't it?

Have to agree with mrsmaidamess - the photo is weird.

I would say rollers if you're really wanting an answer.

filchthemildmanneredjanitor Thu 16-Jul-09 14:56:54

i do really want an answer!grin

i am entirely genuine

i am going to a 70's party at the weekend and need to do my hair!

mrsmaidamess Thu 16-Jul-09 15:06:20

Oh thank god. I thought it was your new everyday 'do'

Ok, I would apply mousse or some such fixing lotion! Blow dry hair away from face a la Farrah Fawcett. Finish style with tongs.

<breathes sigh of relief>

you can curl hair with straighteners, the same way as you would curl ribbon with scissors

JRocks Thu 16-Jul-09 19:09:13

For full retro-ness you need a hot brush grin

I would say rollers, as tongs can smooth the hair into the curl, and from the looks of that picture you want it a bit pouffy grin

will have a practice with the heated rollers tonight. i was going to ask the hairdresser if she could do it for me but don't fancy walking in clutching that pic and saying 'can you make me look like that please?grin
