36c dress size 14. I want to buy something, preferably with suspenders, but as I'm a bit overweight ccertainly don't want that podgy bit between suspender belt and knickers. Something like a lacey all in one would be nice or an elegant set with long suspender belt any ideas?

Which podgy bit do you want to avoid? Belly/thigh or hipbone/thigh?

Ann Summers has a sale on

[[http://www.annsummers.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&parent_cate goryrn=10252&productId=66179&topcategory=10252&catalogId=40151&langId=-1 This is good if you are uncomfortable about your flabby bits - also handy for marital action as it does not impede entry and there is no undressing required

I meant this

oh mp
purleese
Ann Summers???

Go to a nice independent undies shop I would say

morningpaper Tue 14-Jul-09 19:47:45

Oooh I LOVE their undies

I bought three matching pairs in the sales last week for a bargainous price

I bought my chum a suspender skirt which isn't on their website but looked really amazing on, v v v flattering

morningpaper - that is very nice, though not too sure about the pink. I saw a Fantasie all in one with suspenders recommended by Gok last year, but can't find anything like it now - any more suggestions?

morningpaper Tue 14-Jul-09 19:49:39

of course you could go to your local independent shop <adjusts glasses> but I always get scared by the old man that runs my local one and can't start bleating about suspenders

When I was in Ann Summers last week the woman in front of me was about 90

I didn't see what she was buying but it gave me much hope

They do have LOTS of cheap and shiny, you have to have a rummage

Good for ladies with small bosoms like myself as they do SERIOUS PADDING

Not much different to Gossard though

higgle Tue 14-Jul-09 20:26:52

YouLukaAmazing - yes, that would be a definate "yes" but they only have it in tiny sizes now.

Try this website They have lots of stuff like that without being tacky.

Bugger me ! Don't try La Senza if you are a 14. I'm a 12 and a 36C bust size and La Senza stuff is uncomfortable and small in the extreme. I am trying to wean DH off the bloody shop.

For the fuller of figur (but they do smaller sizes too) I recommend Aubade. Pretty, sexy and practical!

BOFwithagallicshrug Tue 14-Jul-09 22:42:23

I wish I was on commission grin
