Im size 8 and v petite with dark red hair and a bit of a tan (at the mo) i tend to dress quite quirkily and am a big fan of chunky jewellary etc. anyhoo, presentation is dh's last but in a pub so not dress up at all, but still want to look nice. torn between this with either red ballet shoes, bright green slingbacks or wedges. this with thick black tights and black shoes or this with same accessories as first

lulu, saw the strawberry dress in my local topshop and its soooo much nicer in rl. i have quite a "generous" bust and narrow hips so thought it would even me out a bit and look less p3 girl!

bandeua broken heart dress much better than the contrast button one

at being able to wear strapless or halterneck

Lulu, there is a fab sack on page 5 of "Fat girls r us" I may be purchasing

I am so much more "fat girls r us" rather than strapless/halter neck

pmsl, just had another look at it on the catwalk thingy and it really is v funky. bit short though, so might be better with black tights and shoes but funky bright bag?

i like the cherries and the strawberry. i really don't like black tights in summer, always looks like one has something to hide.

ah, good point fishie. have a fair bit of cellulite on my legs but fleshy tights should be ok.

the people (reko) who make those fruit dresses used to be in the unit next door to dh - they are very nice so i hope you buy one of theirs

there is something about black and summer light which doesn't quite work i think.

I like the last one best, BUT also like the first one and it is in the sale so depends if you think the last one is worth paying more for.
Not keen on the second one but that is just my preference.
