Oh I was hoping you would resurrct velcro thread. Now, , I was given a beauty of a blow dry the other week. All glossy, voluminous and swingy. Can I replicate that with rollers. If so, how. My hair is chin length, layered, wavy/curlyish. And are yours heated?

Great for if you have already washed your hair earlier in the day and don't want to wash again.
Pop some in, have a shower, leave for a while then use hairspray and voila, swishy and bouncy.
Love em
My boys think they are hilarious and am a new Ben 10 alien.

Do they not make your hair go a bit Monica Lewinsky? I hate hairdresser blow drys for the first couple of hours because they're waaaay too volume-y and Monica.... fine after it all settles down a bit though.

if they make me look like Renee Russo in The Thomas Crown Affair (my ultimate goal in life) then that's fine

Do they work on really fine hair? I have the hair of a baby duckling, fine, fluffy, flyaway and totally uncontrollable, I have tried using all sorts of curling/smoothing/waving instruments but all have left me in a real tangle because my hair is so fluffy.

yes i ahev fine hair.
how can you not do it gg?
you know when you get a wodge of hair to blow dry on your brush.
get the roller at the end of it, pull the hair taught and roll under.
it doesnt need to be precise.

haha re REne Russo - have always thought that myself, yes it comes out pretty big initially and its a bit but if you leave it it soon spams down.
Just had a mate here for afternoon tea and she kept saying "I cant get over how nice your hair looks"...

I need some of these. How big do I need to buy them? I have shoulder length hair, v fine and masses of it.

Oh and I have a double crown, it's such a nuisance.

I am that person who does the left side and thinks, well fuck it. It takes so long

Report
nappyaddict · 11/07/2009 22:59

I can't do them either. Nor can i blowdry my hair whilst using a brush at the same time.

Report
LadyOfWaffle · 11/07/2009 23:00

I always get the stuck, have to yank them out so end up having to comb the frizz they have caused and voila - poker straight hair again. Maybe they don't work on longer hair? I was going to invest in some heated rollers.
