<shoves stuff into Monsoon basket ready for the off>

littlelamb Thu 09-Jul-09 16:05:11

it's just bags at the minute though isn't it?

it says jewellery but that must be instore only.

littlelamb Thu 09-Jul-09 16:53:34

BALD, I'll be sharpening my elbows for next Thursday wink I'm determined to treat myself to some monsoon PJs, I've been ill this week and had to open the door in grubby old sweats. I'm going to get me some ladylike nightclothes wink

littlelamb Thu 09-Jul-09 16:54:11

<profers new bracelet for DB's inspection>
Was carnage in there today DB. I'd wait a few days

BoysAreLikeDogs Thu 09-Jul-09 16:54:14

grin

nevergoogledragonbutter Thu 09-Jul-09 16:55:36

i want earrings. i only own 3 pairs.

littlelamb Thu 09-Jul-09 16:55:45

I'm also thinking I'm going to have to place ds's buggy in a more prominent position. He has developed a habit of picking things off shelves and hanging onto them shock I'm going to try and angle him just right for the bag I have my eye on wink
Ah, I jest, I jest

littlelamb Thu 09-Jul-09 16:56:52

Loads of earrings in there DB> Claires might be worth a look. I feel dreadfully old and past it when I go in there, but their summer jewellery is nice

nevergoogledragonbutter Thu 09-Jul-09 16:57:17

might go for it on monday.
will keep an eye out for you and your bag hogging too.
you'll be weak still from all your illness grin

i was in exeter yesterday. tried to take my mosaic out of the exhibition for the move but was convinced by the gallery owners to give it some more time.

thing is, i like it myself and want it for my wall. but need the money.
can't afford my own damn art!!!

if you put things in your basket online will they reduce the price and stay in there when the sale starts?

littlelamb Thu 09-Jul-09 17:00:58

I've been past the window several times DB and it always has the same one in there. Can you convince them to give you a more prominent spot?

BoysAreLikeDogs Thu 09-Jul-09 17:01:43

I did that on Xmas day and then went in on boxing day and the boots were still in my basket, and at sale price too

huzzah

Or it could have been because there was less than 24 hours in between the 2

littlelamb Thu 09-Jul-09 17:03:08

And I am never too ill for a bargain. Ds is looking a bit suspect, so if he comes down with something in the next few days I'll just neglect to change his nappy before venturing in. I'm pretty sure it'd clear the area wink

nevergoogledragonbutter Thu 09-Jul-09 17:10:17

LL, they are going to try it as outside piece in the courtyard once the exhibition ends.
May catch the light better.
hmm

nevergoogledragonbutter Mon 13-Jul-09 18:06:58

it's tomorrow!

littlelamb Mon 13-Jul-09 18:10:17

See you there DB wink
Realistically though, I don't strictly need anything...
Except pjs. I'll be upset if there are no pjs

nevergoogledragonbutter Mon 13-Jul-09 18:50:47

tomorrow is no good for me.
the removals van is coming.
oh well.

Mumsnut Tue 14-Jul-09 12:07:51

What a waste of time! Website PAINFULLY slow, checkout page would not come up. By the time it did, the dress I wanted had been removed from my bag. Grrr.

Very disappointing. The discounts are a bit pathetic.
