Could we have a lovely posh hair/skin products list please?

Because I have a horrid flaky AND greasy scalp at the moment. And when I stayed with someone and nicked some of her lovely Neal's Yard shampoo, scalp and hair were wonderful.

So I'd like to hear your current favourite hair, skin and bath/shower things please? VV posh and VV expensive only . And hopefully available over internet as no civilisation decent shops near here.

I have a big inner lentil weaver so on the hippy made from dewdrops end of the scale good.

And would like to hear what said products are good for IYSWIM? eg scaley bits, spots, dry skin, beautiful smell

I have just indulged in some Bliss lemon and sage shampoo and conditioner. It is soooo lovely, points below

Fab smell
Makes my hair v.v shiney
Hair has no frizz of any kind which is unheard of
They send you samples of other things with every order

Currently using Aveda shampure shampoo and conditioner which is lovely. Also I use Ojon hair oil stuff every couple of weeks as my hair is coloured.
My fave face cream is elemis pro collagen marine cream which smells gorgeous and makes a real difference.

Not sure if it's posh/lentil weavery/expensive enough for you but I LOVE Label M hair products. Favourites are;

Sea salt spray, fab for tousled bed head hair and great on hols

Honey and Oat shampoo and conditioner, yum

Have heard very good things about this face cream. Shower products wise I use Clarins Eau Dynamisante Shower Mousse which is lovely and twice a week this Guinot exfo and this face exfoliator.

Got to second the vote for elemis pro collagen marine cream,in fact the entire elemis range is yummy.

For hair stuff MOP( Modern Organic Products )'glisten' range is fab.

Get all mine from QVC, best prices and sometimes can pay over 3 or 4 months

I have combination skin which is prone to outbreaks whiteheads, and just generally feeling greasy. I love Clarins stuff & use their gentle foaming cleanser, toner & matte hydration moisturiser. It really does seem to help & even though I have dark circles under my eyes (which I use Clarins eye contour gel for) & broken veins (I sound gorgeous, don't i?) I still have people tell me that my skin looks good & I appear younger than my age!!

dh used to hate how much i spent on the stuff (but a bottle of each lasts about 9 months to a year), but has suddenly noticed that I don't have as many wrinkles as friends who do nothing. don't know if it's just co-incidence, but my skin def feels better when i do use it.

hair - i use tresemme stuff. used to use john frieda. actually, i have to admit, i've just always had fairly strong, healthy hair & nails, although my scalp can be flaky & spotty simultaneoulsly

elizabeth arden 8 hour cream & clarins beauty balm both give a good 'glow' and work well under make up.

oh, and drink enough water/juice etc & get enough sleep. they help the most!

dermalogica skincare. expensive but it is amazing ifyou hvae oily skin/prone to spots. am not usually very high maintenance but this i consider my one essential indulgence...

ESPA nurturing oil. Its the only one in their range suitable for pregnancy.

I'm 25 weeks with a sizeable bump and no stretch marks (yet!) from this pregnancy (although faded ones from teenage years).

Second Aveda haircare and Clarins skincare.

In the past E45 has been one of the best for itchy skin (coming from a product junkie!)

Gatineau AHA Body Lotion is the best I've ever tried. It is about £24 from QVC. It leaves your skin so smooth and is very light and non-greasy.

I use Tigi Bed Head Dumb Blonde. You really notice a difference. And you don't have to be blonde: DH is definitely not a brunette and uses it too.

For skin I love REN products. Elemis are nice too.

REN is organic and a really lovely (though pricey) range. I particularly like their bath and body products and their face oils. You can get them from the Space NK website.

cornsilk,what is the Ojon hair oil? I have coloured hair and would love to know why it is good.

Op - I love loreal series expert shampoo and conditioner - the only hair stuff that seems to make a difference for me.

Skin - I love Clarins and also Dermalogica, although I have yet to find the correct combination for my skin type.

Aloxxi Platinum Pro colour shampoo is great for keeping your colour, especially if you have highlights. It keeps blonde hair blonde and not brassy.

I am another fan of Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream. I also love Clarins and Espa face oils.

Can I ask a few questions?

Is this Elemis cream better than SPF to prevent wrinkles? Or is it more to reduce them?

And is it heavy? ie will it give me spots like the REN cleanser and moisturiser although this moisturiser is the best one i've tried on my skin so far?

And finally before I click buy, how has your favourite product made your skin better/different?

I love Neals Yard and Burts Bees stuff, also Lush but that's a bit less posh (their Angels on Bare Skin cleanser is fab, gentle daily exfoliating cleanser, skin beautifully smooth, smells lovely). Neals Yard have just come out with a new jasmine body cream which is just gorgeous, smells beautiful, wonderfully moisturizing and is all organic & fairtrade. Also love Neals Yard white tea eye gel and orange flower facial oil for before-bed pampering, again skin lovely, smell nice too.

Worth mentioning for make-up is B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful, all vegan and lovely, lip glosses in little beaded pots and things feel v.poncy when touching up on a night out.

I'm struggling for haircare at the moment, tend to use Lush solid shampoos & Lush (American Cream) or Original Source conditioners, think I need to overhaul that though - I have wavy/frizz-prone coloured hair - what's the Ojon hair oil?

Best 'instant results' product of all time is Clinique body exfoliating cream (ie, body scrub).

Comes in a big blue tub with a silver lid. You scoop the stuff out with your fingers. It changes the texture of wobbly thighs from the first time you use it - heavenly peppermint/ menthol type smell too.

And best shower smell for me is Korres guava shower gel - quite lentil weavery too.

Elemis PCMC is the best moisturiser on the planet but boy is it pricey. I get it twice a year in 'TSV' kits on QVC.

Avenda shampoo and conditioner - Camomile for every day cos I'm blonde and I like to pretend think it makes a difference. Their hair detoxifier is good for using once or twice a week to remove product build up and it smells nice and sagey. They also have a few lentil weaving credentials.

Dermalogica for face and body care. Their products are always on my xmas list. Love everything, but especially Active Moist moisturiser (good for my combination skin) and their medibac range is fab for break out prone skin. I love their exfoliating body scrub too. Is quite pricey but I've found Beauty Flash to be good value.

Oh, and if you're about to have children stock up whilst you have the cash. I have a obscene small stash under the bed in the spare room which DH does not know about.

Aesop. All good. The shampoo for dry scalp, the chamomile anti-blemish mask, the violet leaf hair balm. Lovely lovely soap. Great rose hair mask. Gorgeous vanilla and sandalwood body balm.

Kerastase is much lighter on the dewdrops, but gets a place on my shelf because it works. The gentle anti-dandruff shampoo (white bottle, grey lid) is great for my dry scalp, and the new leave in conditioner (daily replenishing beauty cream, orange lid) is brilliant - has all but got rid of frizz.
