Have boots no 7 which is factor 30 and loreal for face which is factor 50, I need a high one as im quite fair and want to protect against wrinkles.
Both of the above make my face look like an oil slick and its worse putting make up on top of it.
Any recommendations before I make another mistake!

Neutrogena make a SPF 70 which is really good, it does on very sheer and not greasy at all.

Boots No 7 do an anti-ageing factor 50 specifically for the face - it goes on slightly greasy but if you give it 5-10 mins before putting make-up on it's fine.

I also love Clarins factor 40 protective day screen which is not oily at all, has a milky texture. It's about £40 for a tiny bottle which is why I don't get it any more, but it does last for ages.

Clinique do Super City Block spf 40- and they also do a facial sunscren which is i think SPF 50- well, they did last year- might have gone down to 40 this year. anyway, it's very nice.

La Roche Posay Anthelios SPF 50 is a very light fluid, also agree that the Clinique city block spf 40 which has slight colour to it is great.
