Are these Dune shoes nice or hideous?

They're from Dune - I tried them on yesterday and liked them but can't decide if they're the granny version of gladiators?

And could I wear them with this dress?

I don't like them much because they seem so unsure of what they are; gladiators, strappy sandals.
I like my shoes to be decisive

Like the shos, they are trendy but not so much that you can't wear them next year. Not a fan of the dress.

I'm dress mad at the moment - 3.5 stone lost since December and I'm bloody well making the most of it this summer!

Already got the dress and it's fab, but I'm struggling on the shoe front. Really want some gladiators, but nothing too scary looking (ie nothing going all the way up the calf, or with loads of buckles).

Just read your last post properly - I really don't think gladiators go with that dress - skinny jeans/leggings/maxi-dress - yes, that dress no.
I would go for some sort of a heel with it if I were you.

I think you need to try them on together and see what you think. The shoes look fine to me, if you feel good in the outfit then you have your answer!
