Snort at "is this really your voice?"

OMG. How booooring is that review?? I just wanted her to slap it on and show us what it does!!

callalilies Tue 16-Jun-09 14:55:37

Can't believe I just sat through 8 mins of that review waiting for her to GET ON WITH IT and put some on and she didn't!

(Never had lip balm spreading round my face personally either...)

macherie Tue 16-Jun-09 15:56:47

I bought it because the packaging is SOOO pretty, but it is lip balm like any you'd get in the chemist for a few pounds blush

I still love taking it out of my bag though!

ThePhantomPlopper Tue 16-Jun-09 17:34:15

I've been tempted to get this, I don't look good in lipstick and thought this might be a good compromise.

So its just an expensive lip balm then?

macherie Tue 16-Jun-09 18:31:44

Phantom this would be good for you.

When I realised the glow is just bog standard lip balm in a pretty tube, I got one of those, which is just pinker than nude, shiny but not sticky and the packaging is great.

I am a total sucker for packaging blush

in " front row fig"?

noddyholder Tue 16-Jun-09 18:45:00

This stuff would prob seduce me!Im am waiting for a positive review so that I can blame someone tomorrow when dp sees it.....

Bumperlicioso Tue 16-Jun-09 19:19:27

I use this - much cheaper and a nice compromise between a gloss and lip balm. I also stick some on my cheeks too.

Fayrazzled Tue 16-Jun-09 19:21:32

I've got some. I don't think it is just like a lip balm though. It definitely changes the colour of my lips, albeit subtly. It looks sort of barbie pink in the tube and a bit scary but natural when applied.

PhaseAte Tue 16-Jun-09 19:37:09

its ok

PhaseAte Tue 16-Jun-09 19:37:22

Grr wrong thread

ThePhantomPlopper Tue 16-Jun-09 19:39:03

What colour did you get Macherie, to get the just pinker than nude look?

Front row fig would not look good on me.

brimfull Tue 16-Jun-09 19:39:19

I only lasted a minnte

PhaseAte Tue 16-Jun-09 19:39:54

ThePhantomPlopper Tue 16-Jun-09 19:42:13

ThePhantomPlopper Tue 16-Jun-09 19:44:04

It makes my lips stick together and I end up licking it off.

macherie Tue 16-Jun-09 20:02:52

Eh no not front row fig grin

It is champagne blush i think, 5 from right second row.

ThePhantomPlopper Tue 16-Jun-09 20:07:55

No its still front row fig grin.

I'll go find it.

callalilies Tue 16-Jun-09 20:10:49

Bumperlicioso where do you get that vaseline stuff from? I've looked everywhere and even my local gigantic Boots doesn't stock it angry
