Could anybody please help me find some pretty but flat silver sandals, for wearing a) to a prom and b) on holiday in the evenings? Not flip flops, or birkies. Need to be both pretty and comfortable!

Tia.

Oh and whilst we're here:

Does anybody know where (other than M&S) I might be able to get a cup-sized bikini with big pants or shorts, rather than skimpy knickers, for under 25 squid?

Cheers!

Accessorize?

I looked at Bravissimo for bikinis, but their bikini tops looked to be around that price on their own.

these any good?

or these?

I've got some shorts and a cup sized bikini top from Next.

No advice on the sandals though - sorry.

Next - will have a look there.

Evans - the footwear would be too wide I think as I have v narrow feet.

Sandals - deffo not gladiators as I think they are hideous, sorry. Will look at Accessorise properly.

Sorry - am fussy.

Bravissimmo - is so expensive I find.

Am 32E - the tops in Marks were okay but the pants were really teeny and I have a mummy tummy.

These from Next but not leather

Also from Next but all leather

And another pair also not leather

These are quite gorgeous

and final offering some leather gladiators

I bought several pairs of strappy leather sandals from Next last year and they have lasted beautifully. I had also ordered a pair from Lanvin at £250 and, tbh, you could not have told the difference.

Don't like the KG ones at all, sorry.

Quite like the 1st Next ones, MrsJS (who IS John Simm?).

2nd Next ones are a nice shape but maybe a bit 'bling' for me - would need to see in the flesh.

3rd pair - now those I DO like.

4th pair - can't do toe-posts - ouch!

Bikini - tis okay but WHY would you need padding in an E cup?!!!

Thanks all - any more?

MrsJohnSimm is currently assisting me in finding appropriate going out clothes on another thread . She is also married to the actor from Life on Mars, apparently.

Thanks Beetroot - you see, I am being a bad teacher and thinking about clothes instead of planning exciting lessons (why? I am on a course tomorrow!). A couple of pretty ones on your link but I prefer the prices of the Next ones.

La Senza - have shorts to match in some cases

jambutty · 11/06/2009 19:53

Actually, those La Senza shorts aren't going to go over a baby belly - bit low. Depends how confident you are I suppose.

The La Senza ones are cute - but you are right about the shorts I think. Am size 12 so not huge but would prefer it covered!
