...here for my DTs dedication. I'd like them to have different dresses but co-ordinating, IYSWIM?

Was thinking about this one from Boden but they don't have it the size I need (18-24mo).

Has anyone seen anything nice they'd recommend?

this?

Too like the one you already have maybe?

PortAndLemon Tue 09-Jun-09 14:36:09

This one?

fimbo's first one would go well.

this one from Next is very similar to the Boden one you like, it's only £13 and they have it online in 18-24 months. I have it for DD and think it's gorgeous smile

or this one if you wanted another blue one just different.

Thanks all - I do like that Next one, spotted it a few mins ago. What's the fabric like as I was worried it might be a bit scratchy.

Oops, sorry, meant this

Personally, I would have either both dresses with sleeves or without. I don't think they will look "co-ordinated" otherwise.

But that is just my opinion.

All are nice dresses btw.

Agree with Fimbo, both with sleeves or both without...

Yellow dress is lovely cotton, netting is not scratchy and there is a cotton underskirt under the netting so it won't irritate her legs smile

I disagree about the sleeves actually as I do want them to look quite different (they are ID) and not just the same dress (or v similar) in a different colour as they get compared enough as it is. Perhaps co-ordinating was the wrong word. Good to hear that that Next dress is comfy though - might opt for that and the M&S one. Thanks for all your help smile.

pretty

becklespeckle Tue 09-Jun-09 21:25:21

oooh, very pretty!

dairymoo Tue 09-Jun-09 21:57:24

That's so funny brokenspacebar, that is the dress that I saw ages ago and LOVE. Think I might go for it after all as it is gorgeous. Now I was thinking of pairing it with maybe this although the sleeves look like they are kind of off the shoulder...surely not appropriate for toddlers?! Or maybe this skirt or even this dress from the girls section. Hmmm....

Definitely go with the paisley dress and the green polka dot one you linked to - they look fab together and are both gorgeous, much prettier than the m&s one imo.

I would get the first one you linked to there, broderie anglaise, gorgeous! I am not keen on the skirt though I think jl have some lovely skirts...that green one is out of stock afaics

brokenspacebar Wed 10-Jun-09 11:00:15

what do you think of this ?

PortAndLemon Wed 10-Jun-09 21:39:08

I would go for the paisley and the blouse and trouser set brokenspacebar linked to. They coordinate but won't look the least bit matchy-matchy.

(I am so tempted to get the blouse and trouser set for DD, actually)

P&L it is gorgeous, go on! I made the mistake of ordering lots for my children from JL(by my standards), thinking I wouldn't like it all - kept everything, I think their childrenswear is so lovely just now and free delivery!
