I have some lovely chunky fashion necklaces and pendants but I am having trouble finding anywhere to keep them that mean them getting tangled. Any ideas?

sorry that should say that doesn't mean them getting tangled!

simple and effective - why didn't I think of that! - any more ideas?

Terribly I am afraid, they are all bunched.

But I saw this wonderful wonderful japanese cabinet which had a little door and lots of hooks for hanging pendants, I have always wanted it. Alas it was in The Pier which has now gone bust!

A friend has also put little screws inside one of her wardrobes, on a really nice piece of wood, to hang them from.

I didn't know the Pier had gone bust - that's a bummer.

yes at christmas (just after), I got a fab statue from there reduced from £70 to £20 and lots of lovely christmas decorations for £1 each!

Shame I still could not afford the furniture!

I was upset, I loved that shop.

hang them all on a coat hanger in your wardrobe

lovely family but a bit more than I was itending paying!

familywhoneedsem Sun 07-Jun-09 11:19:38

ignore the price but is this not the best? I saw one like this in black with carvings and spirals up it, the sides open for long jewelry. It was a little cheaper than this though grin

Sorry, not helping am i? grin

Ikea do rows of 12 hooks mounted on a lenght of plastic for about #2.50. I have them on the inside of my wardrobe door too.

I have 2 corkboards on the wall with pins.

Nyx Sun 07-Jun-09 21:01:17

I've got about a dozen (large, coloured head) pins in a row on my bedroom wall, above the chest of drawers. There are 2 or 3 necklaces or bracelets on each one. I did this as a last resort, my jewellery was getting lost/broken/just not worn as it was always tangled; now I see at a glance what I have and they're never tangled up grin

I bought a tie hanger (from sainsbos) and hung it on the radiator behind the bathroom door. Simple but works well.
