Glad you liked it - it did nothing for me unfortunately. Have you tried ebay?

I have it in both navy and pink and agree it's the best dress ever. Very flattering and unlike so many others like it, it's a decent length. I bet you they do it again next season.

Wow ive just been on the website to have a look and it is lovely think i might get one. What is the joules sizing like? I am between a 12 and a 14

I find it pretty generous. I am usually a 12 but very much wish I had got a 10. FWIW, I think the navy is nicer than the pink but the pink is still nice.

I have it in Navy.
I like it because it's pretty and comfy to wear. It fits me now at 20 weeks pregnant too.

But there are a few reasons why I am not 100% happy with it.

It's hand wash only which is a pain.

It's a teeny bit long for my liking. Make's me feel slightly frumpy.

It has a few embroidered flowers positioned right on the bust and dh always comments they look like nipples!!

spiderinthebath - have you asked them to do a shop search for you? Or are they completely sold out everywhere?

I was after the white 50s style dress and they located one in my size in a shop near me. They will either send it from the shop or you can go and fetch it yourself.

The sizing, I think, is generous on the waist, less so on top. I bought a 12, which I find just fits at the bust but is v. roomy at the waist. OK, since I wear it with a belt.

Btw the 50s style dress receives so many compliments, from strangers; mainly women furtively siding up to me, asking where it's from.

It wont let me use the mumsnet discount code - is it because its in the sale?
Anyway the nipple flowers have put me off a bit now

How low cut is it at front? Cleavage showing?

I'm selling my size 10 navy one on ebay at the moment if anyone is interested. It's a lovely dress, but I have very small narrow shoulders and it didn't fit me well around the shoulders and bust ( but I find it a nightmare to find tops and dresses that fit well ).

I've just bought one from ebay for £26 (new)

.

But it looks so comfy.

Any luck finding one yet spiderinthebath? I was in my local Joules stockist today and they had one size 10 in pink. Do you want their phone number? They might mail it to you (small country clothing type shop that stocks some Joules stuff).

Mine came! Me likey. It's a little voluminous over the boobs, but not ridiculously so.It's very comfy and I like the length.

Mine arrived this morning and it's lovely

Slightly less lovely is the fact that my neighbour rang the doorbell with another package while I was trying it on but I was on the phone so couldn't explain why I was waltzing around the house wearing a pink sundress over jeans when it's raining.

Mine makes my boobs look huge

Report
spicemonster · 05/06/2009 18:37

Oh yes it does make my boobs look huge. But they are huge and that is the only downside. I reckon I'll get lots of wear out of it (providing the sun comes out again)
