I've got some but I've only used it once or twice and you are supposed to use it everyday. Will use it everyday this week and let you know!

That sounds just what I've been looking for! Am now going to do a search...
(have to rescue my winter legs...)

I've been using it. Managed to get some from a big Tesco. Nice colour but actually more colour than I expected as the cream is white and shows no sign of the tan element. Only used it 3 times so far and you can see the difference (specially between my fingers as I forgot to wash them after - big mistake!) Easy to apply and don't seem to have any streaks at all which makes a change.

Managed to get hold of some!! Meet you back here in a week to see if I'm a nicer colour!

I want to try it.

I've used it 2 days running now and I'd say I've got a light colour. I'll get addicted to the stuff if it really works!

Day one - it smells like fake tan!! You know that kind of wierd biscuity chemical smell? I think I'll have to try and get used to it!

Report
Gobbledigook · 05/05/2005 21:24

Day 3 - def got a 'glow' - I've only done arms, chest, top of back and they are def. browner than my legs!

You wouldn't think I've been on holiday or anything (yet!) but I've got a nice colour def.

But GG, do you smell too?

Managed to get hold of the last 2 bottles in Sainsburys.

Will give an update in a few days.

BTW, fake tan always looks fake on me, so we shall see.

Are you using the light or medium? I am a fake tan virgin so will I definitely not have streaks?

Report
Gobbledigook · 06/05/2005 11:41

No streaks yoyo because it's not that obvious a tan. I've got the normal to dark one but I have 'olive' skin I suppose - I tan very easily and go quite dark.

There is a slight smell if you really sniff hard enough!!!

Did you have to do all the exfoliating and preparation too? Of course I do this every day....

Report
Gobbledigook · 06/05/2005 11:51

Nope!

I've not done any preparation, I just put it on after getting out of the shower. The tan is not that noticeable that you'd get streaks - it's just a very light glow I'd say (but I've only used it 4 days).

Did first application (of the fair to medium) last night and am very pleased with results! Absolutely NO streaking, just a very light tan (the type it takes me a whole summer to build up to!). In fact I think I'm only going to use it once or twice a week because I think much more of a tan would look unnatural on me!
The dry bits on my knees have gone ever so slightly orange though so I think next time I will put on a heavy moisturiser (like Palmers cocoa butter) on them first.
It was very easy to apply and didn't leave any residue on my pyjamas. And I rather liked the smell - I didn't think it smelled at all offputting - just like a regular moisturiser.
It's the first fake tan I've ever used which has left no tide marks or streaks AND gives a realistic colour!
(although I was going for subtle, not a St Tropez look!)

Its' good isn't it cupcakes! I've not got any orange bits but I must admit, I use a shower gel with 'scrub' in it.

cupcakes · 06/05/2005 12:32

I do exfoliate a couple of times a week in the shower so I thought my dry patches would have been ok but apparently not!
