ponchos look daft, and they did when they first came in too

too unflattering too if you ask me
and I'm too old and too fat

I think there's nothing so laughable as people who wear things like ponchos

I mean FGS its a piece of wool with a hole in the middle of it, it serves no purpose

now if it came with a huge pocket that'd be different

too many placed on innapropriate people.

we all want to look like Judes bird.

I liked the poncho I had when I was 6 though. That's where they belong, on 70s children.

Those skirt what I don't see is the attraction of wearing a White one with a blck thong (showing above the skirt of course) underneath.

I saw eight girls like this on Satudar night alone.

gypsy skirts - guaranteed to make those of us with child-bearing hips look like galleons in full sail

Whilst I have to say I loved ponchos, They were/are a great quick coverup, look good with jeans and I must drag mine out soon. I cannot say that about gypsy skirts. I love them, I love the way the material is swishing around, I love the fact they cover my hairy legs when I have not been bothered to shave, I love the way you can wear them without tights when it is too cold for a shorter skirt. BUT THEY MAKE ME LOOK FAT AND SHORTER AND DUMPY

Bother I have tried all different types from trailing the ground to knee length and none work. I have given up and spent too much money on a simple pretty flarey (almost circle but not quite) skirt from Monsoon - far more flattering

Gypsy skirts - only look good on waifs. I am so jealous, they can look fab but would look hideous on moi. Something I will be staying away from

also they make people like me (OK, Old People) look as if they haven't updated their wardrobes since 1978.

I'm wearing my poncho as a gypsy skirt.

I have got a white cotton one tucked away for summer. They are quite flattering though so not as bad as ponchos?
