I couldn't help myself. I bought 2 Mulberry bags yesterday in the factory shop and am scared to tell DH.

In my defence, they were priced at 50% off the already lowered price as they were 'damaged' but had been fully repaired by the factory!

I got a black Bayswater and a brown Roxy. (Normal colours are like gold dust in the factory outlets.) I only went in to get some diary inserts (belatedly).

Feel slightly guilty, but it would have been crazy not to - wouldn't it??
Please come and reasuure me I have in fact been very sensible.

If you can afford it, then they were prob an essential purchase.
Where is this amazing factory shop?

I'm very and therefore you get no sympathy from me

I'd have done the same in your shoes. Can always ebay them if your dh goes ballistic.

Well, I think you are mad of course to buy super-expensive bags - BUT I have just checked them out online and they are both beautiful. If they will last a lifetime, you will use them, you love them and you have the money - pardoned!

Shepton Mallet - get yourselves there pronto, there were several Mabels left and a black Roxy yesterday at 5pm. Can call and reserve if you don;t live nearby, will get phone number. They restrict to 3 per customer.

Do you have to tell DH? Is it your own money? I never tell DP what I spend on clothes/face cream etc and he never tells me what he spends on technology, it's a deal (as long as we are within what we can afford)

Oh stop feeling guilty! Think of hem on a cost per use basis (for the rest of your life).

We bought a lovely weekend bag from there when we went to a friend's wedding in Shepton, if I lived nearby I'd be very very poor indeed having spent every penny in there.

Those bags are bloody gorgeous - am miles away from Sheptton Mallet so . But if you can afford them, they are so worth it.

Muffle, DH will probably find out eventually. I have just started work so can always justify it on the basis that I paid for them myself! Also, I 'found' £450 yesterday in an online savings a/c I had forgotten how to access for ages, and when I eventually got myself organised with password etc, there was a nice little nest egg there.

you enjoy them my love. I have had a chocolate Bayswater for centuries now and it just keeps getting more gorgeous with age (shame same can't be said about me). Bags are not a waste of money because of amount if use. Think about the fact that we think nothing of sending £200 on an outfit to wear to a wedding (or £1000 plus on our own wedding dresses.....)
I am going to this factory outlet forthwith!!!!!!!!

Lucky you !

I have a Mulberry bag (just one though }

It is lovely and I've used it almost every day for a couple of years now, so on a price per day ...... its nothing !

and then I boughht a matching purse and then a keyring

all essential of course.

If you find you dont use it you could always ebay too.
