Help me find my ideal handbag!

I have lots of handbags and they are all lovely to use every now and then but I am looking for a really good one to use all the time. I really love the bags that you wear across your chest so the bag is on the opposite hip to the shoulder strap. So that is my only requirement. It must be big enough for all the (non)essentials I carry around with me but not so big everything gets lost. It must be stylish. Oh and I dont like bags that dont close at the top properly. So zip or something equally easy please. I generally wear very boring clothes at the moment while I am losing weight - jeans and various plain coloured tops with flashy jewellery if I am feeling in the mood.

Thanks and please come up with something I have been looking for ages and I am fed up!

I have a variation on this and the strap is long enough to go across the chest.

This and this are fab cross the body bags. I've got a mimi bag - they are lovely and soft and I've had it for about ten years and it still looks newish.

I love that bag in fact I want it!!

But it's a bit pricey for me. Any idea where I can get something similar but for about half the price. I really like the bow feature.

I have to say I have 2 Ted Baker bags and they have both lasted a few years and I'm not very kind to bags so I think they are worth the money. Will keep an eye out however

thank you very much! I posted this shortly before I went to hospital last night and I plan on enjoying some bedrest today handbag shopping! I think so far on this thread my favourites have been the mimi bags! Trust me to choose the most expensive ones! I think I like their colour grey best. And I think I like the first, bigger pouch bag best. But taking no prisoners til all is decided!
