Looks nice - my 63 year old mum has one and has received no end of compliments from complete strangers about how nice it is.
It is quite a long one though. Personally not keen on the short ones but that one looks a decent length and anyway that is probably just me.
Can't get my head round mix of linen, rayon and nylon though. I presume it will be quite "floppy" and not stiff.

It looks rather nice. Do you want it? Then buy it! It's all about your own style honey.

Hmmm, do you thing that a long floppy one is better than a short stiff one then ?????

< sorry couldn't resist ! >

Yes I couldn't picture what the material would be like either
PS: I'm not 63 though !

I bought one at M&S in the sale and was told by a friend of mine that I wasn't allowed to wear it as it is a Chav garment.

I don't care, I'm still wearing it!

hee hee. Didn't think of it like that - must be because I'm so pure and innocent ....
Didn't think you were 63 btw - what I meant was EVEN my 63 year old mum looks good in one.
Have you got £15? It's only money - if it's horrid, send it back!

Yes, nice swishy floppy one will look nice, but I'd avoid the short (stiff lol) ones that make you look like a shuttlecock. the one you linked looks cool

If it's Fat Face then it's cool alright I love their stuff but have to be careful I don't end up looking like an aging hippy instead of a cool surf chick.

Hey that looks like a bargain! Personally ponchos and me parted company when I was a kid, but if I thought it looked nice on me and I wanted one, I'd get one in a flash! I think Marslady is so right - about it being all about your own style.

I love the turns of phrase some of you mn's have. Charleypops' 'shuttlecock' observation was fab

Do you really think their that bad?
I've got one, I bought it and I hate it. I feel like a teenager when I wear it, in fact have been mistaken for one too often in it.
Yep your right, horrible things I'll throw my out tomorrow

But if you want one then go for it. Mine was tacky and from the market so that pretty much says it all. I like the more expensive ones they look more mature.

Used to have to wear 'em when I was a chabby - hated them then and hate them now. They don't even look good on little kiddies - please don't do it!!!!!!!!!!!

I like that one, actually, but on the whole I think ponchos are rather last season

I bought a Pruna one (that's Per Una) and just kept it in my wardrobe for a year (kept trying it on, thinking nah, it's not really me, and putting it back in). Sold it on ebay in the end for £12 more than I paid for it.
