My dad said he contribute largely towards a pair as my xmas pressie, but I have never tried them on in real life so am unsure which size to get.

I am normally either 3 or a 4. Am a 3 in those cheap ugg type boots from Primark if that helps lol.

Well the only shop I have found that does a 3/4 is Barrets childrens section and they had neither size in stock today.

I might try there again next week.

Ebay have loads.

phone barratts. i don't know about yours, but the ones in Edinburgh would order them in for you if they didn't have your size in stock to try on and you were under no obligation to buy.

FAR easier than dealing with Ebay.

or pop in and ask them if they'd be willing to do this for you.

i find rocketdog, bronx, fly, etc. i wear different sizes in.

and you want boots to fit like gloves because they're high use shoes.

Thanks expat.

I was going to ask them to do that today, but the shop was heaving and the kids were getting ratty.

Will give them a ring and ask.

easier to ring them. explain that you were in the shop, but they didn't have your size and you're really keen on buying those boots, but need to try on between the two sizes, what would their policy be as they didn't have either size in stock for you to try?

it'll save you an unecessary trip if you go back there next week and they're still out.

schuh will do this for you, too. just ring them up and they'll take your name and number.
