Both dress and shoes would blend in fine with general look of mothers at our school gate.

But not sure about the combination - I think that the dress looks better with boots, as in the picture.

just for school run?

will you change into your something else immediately after?

is this just an outfit for 20 mins either end of the day?

Yes just normal day wear.
I never go out so it would have to be worn in the day.

Do you really think the shoes are a no with it?
I love them.

Shoes nice but not with dress.Dress v similar to one I have from Warehouse which was 40 quid BTW for anyone that liked it but couldnt afford it

I wore a polo neck under a paisley print dress yesterday and DH said I looked like a tit.I care not.I thought it looked nice with the added advantage that I was very warm.

I think it depends on the school tbh and what the other mums wear. If you turned up at our bus stop like that we wouldn't laugh because we're too polite, but eyebrows would be raised to hairline level.

I can imagine at other schools it might be exactly the right look.

there are 2 mums that dress like this for the school run and I am always weeping with jealousy. the rest of us slouch around in jeans and fleeces. gak.

go for it.
