And what do I wear with them?

bundle Wed 01-Oct-08 13:21:47

tunic or dress over top?
ballet pumps or trainers

anyfucker Wed 01-Oct-08 13:34:58

amount of twattage depends on how you look in them

some people look great, some look, err, not so great

southeastastra Wed 01-Oct-08 13:35:56

um baggy sweatshirt thing? i like wearing mine with those.

though i hate the low rise aspect of them

CountessDracula Wed 01-Oct-08 13:36:37

are you slim with not huge feet?
You will look fine

orangina Wed 01-Oct-08 13:39:14

Buy some lovely boots to wear over the top (many many threads discussing boots over the past few weeks...)

Miyazaki Wed 01-Oct-08 13:40:30

see bundles answer!

and also I like to wear mine with a suit jacket - sleeves turned up for some reason atm, t-shirt, layered with longer vest/t-shirt to avoid back exposure

orangina Wed 01-Oct-08 13:42:42

Yes, find long tops essential to prevent potential bum cleavage exposure (ewwwwwwwww)

SoupDragon Wed 01-Oct-08 13:45:02

I have marvellous long thin legs [preen] but fairly large feet (7) hmm Makes me sound like an ostritch.

I shall have to rummage through my wardrobe later to see what's on offer. Deliberately bought cheap foul Primark ones to avoid expensive twat mistake.

SoupDragon Wed 01-Oct-08 13:45:55

I have some long boots (which is why I bought the jeans actually as I've nothing much to wear the boots with)

Miyazaki Wed 01-Oct-08 13:56:50

good with long boots. YES!

Primark doing short sleeve chunky roll neck wool jumper which I have been wearing with long sleeve t underneath, skinnies and boots.

bundle Wed 01-Oct-08 14:00:11

i bought primark ones too but lost them - how can you lose a pair of jeans?? hmm

Miyazaki Wed 01-Oct-08 14:03:44

that is weird...

i always wonder when I see single shoes on the street. sort of unsettling!

NotCod Wed 01-Oct-08 14:04:18

did you get gap sllim ones?
they are my fave fr everyday

MrsMattie Wed 01-Oct-08 14:06:01

I love black or dark blue skinnies. I wear them with all sorts - long cardi and Uggs or trainers for casual, cowboy boots and nice top for funkier look, high heeled boots / shoes and dressy tip to go out in. Skinnies are great, as long as they have a bit of stretch in them!

MrsMattie Wed 01-Oct-08 14:06:49

Soup Dragon - I also have long, slim legs but big feet (8). But I'm tall (are you?). We can carry it off grin

NotCod Wed 01-Oct-08 14:08:11

oh i coudlnt do wiht traienrs
they give you clown feet

bundle Wed 01-Oct-08 14:12:02

i have camper shoes that are traineresque (in a lovely cream) that are perfick with skinnies. or leggings/dress combo (as long as socks same colour as leggings ie black)

NotCod Wed 01-Oct-08 14:12:42

gmm you are braver than me

i fear the inverted funnel look

MrsMattie Wed 01-Oct-08 14:12:43

lol@clown feet. i have lovely slim fitting retro Adidas. I do not look like Coco!

NotCod Wed 01-Oct-08 14:12:51

bundle Wed 01-Oct-08 14:13:21

NotCod Wed 01-Oct-08 14:14:17

altho my dd1 wears skinnies and converse so I don't do it anymore. sob.

SoupDragon Wed 01-Oct-08 14:24:44

I often look like I have clown feet as my ankles are so skinny. There are ridiculous size 7 shoes on the end of 2 sticks

Can't get to Gap easily, Cod. I'm in Croydon remember. Have to travel to more taateful areas to get to gap
