OK. Here is a real-life recommendation. I read about this stuff in the Independent, years ago. It's expensive but it works (which is what the girl in the Indie said about it.) It's for the spots, not the scabs, but I'm guessing if it works on the spots you won't get the scabs? Treat yourself to a tiny tube of Guerlain's Issima Creme Camphrea. (That should have little accents on most of the vowels, all going in different directions! And I've no clue how to pronounce it.) If I were you I'd try the Sudocrem first (obv)...but this Guerlain stuff is miraculous, really. Good luck.
