Style and beauty

This maybe a tall order but I need some shoes...

I'm going to a dinner dance in a couple of weeks and it is a ceilidh so lots of dancing!

So I need some new shoes, as my nice going out shoes aren't terribly suitable for dancing in as they are kitten heels!

So this is the dress I'm wearing, I have it in black.

I need them to be fairly low heeled and preferably chunky - me and heels don't really mix as I have dodgy ultra bendy ankles.

And I have a limited budget - sub £40, less is better!! I prefer ankle straps as well.

So any one want to help?

Have you looked at Next catalogue online?

Faith?

Office?
I think it is too pretty a dress to go chunky- maybe a T bar court with a pointy toe- or rounded toe? Ballet flats?

I don't generally shop at those places - too expensive for me!

T-bar court sounds good.

Sorry I disappeared, ladies but I went to bed!!

Ebay - no way. I must be able to try them on.

Goober - lovely shoes, but you missed the bit in my OP about 'I need them to be fairly low heeled and preferably chunky - me and heels don't really mix as I have dodgy ultra bendy ankles.'

I'm a size 5 wide fitting... told you it was a tall order!

I've seen some in clarks that aren't VERY low healed but have quite a wide sturdy heal and will probably be good for wide feet as Clarks normally are (I have very wide feet). They are a t-bar and I think were £40. No good at links so can't do that. Also there were a pair of 'Mary-Janes' in the Tesco magazine which again were a heel but quite sturdy with a ribbon tie, only £18.
