LL - brilliant idea. I have four, so start the bidding now...(hmm. Mumsnet possibly not most obvious place to flog off kids)

If you use ch ben, will the children go without food?

It's lovely, but just sooo expensive. How about this?

whereabouts in the Southeast do you live SK? If you are close enough for me to borrow it then I insist that you buy it! I think it's perfect.

its not very special or very nice
i think you could have more fun elsewhere with your family allowance

Lyra - is that a trick question before I answer. As in, if they won't we shouldn't receive it and it should be means tested? Please don't make me do political at this time of night! (Cautious emoticon) We really need the child benefit, but if I was really careful, they could still eat, and I have paid for school dinners up front, and one is still being breastfed. Do I sound a tad desperate!

Very dull bag.
Only paying for the name.

No, no, I meant if it's their food money you're spending, don't do it. If it's just general family money and you can afford it, then go for it. Meant it tongue in cheek, honest

well I wouldn't spend £125 on a bag but our child benefit just goes into mine and dh's bank account and gets used each month along with the rest of our income on whatever we wish to spend it on.

Little lapin I have some shoes just like link number one, I suspect they may have been a few months child benefit, maybe I should have more children so I can buy miore shoes.

I am amazed if a woman who has had three kids could wear that dress.
