What to wear with black trousers now?

I've just bought some smart black trousers, which used to be a staple of my pre-SAHM wardrobe. I thought they'd solve all my wardrobe dilemmas as I've put on a lot of weight and don't have too many clothes.

HOWEVER, being now a SAHM it doesn't seem right to wear the old kind of worky things with them.

So what do I wear?

I'm a size 12-14 on top, 14-16 below, 36F boobs and pear shaped. I'm a redhead. I hate wearing shirts.

Please help, or I'm just going to have to take them back. And I've only got two pairs of trousers, and the zip on one of them comes down all the time. Pity me...sob... help..

Thanks Nailpolish

So you think block colour is ok?

Loving the black bangle. I might get that tomorrow with my unused voucher. Necklaces are too much of a temptation for my 8-month old, though. They were my 'spruce-up' standby.

I wear pumps like that quite a lot. And I like the boots (although I always think they make ladies look a bit like little ponies) but I'm not sure of their pram pushing potential.. maybe I'm too cautious about heels.

I like that M+S top .. in fact a few of those with long sleeves.

these are the exact same boots i bought

dead comfy

nice with jeans and trouosers

if you want to get more trousers for daywear IMO you are better with flecked brown, charcoat etc for less 'worky' look

dp's ahve TONS as do m&s

You're dead right about the colour, Nailpolish. There are hardly any shops where I live, though, so when I see something acceptable, I tend to snap it up. Saves internet faff. Except fo this internet faff, I guess

That's a damn good boot.

wrap over jersey tops are good for big boobs (I wish- sighs deeply), or maybe a smart long sleeved T shirt and a waistcoat, sleeveless cardi thing that are all the range now- Topshop and M&S do them.

I am raving over Kew at the mo, having been into the shops yesterday and they are getting all the new stuff in.www.kew-online.com

Will have a look at Kew.

I can't get used to having big boobs in fact. I used to be a 32D and went up to a 36F while pg/bf. Don't know if I'm ever going to wear any of my pretty undies again!
