What's wrong with light denim? I don't like dark denim, am I stylistically doomed?

Love jeans, lost enough weight over the last 6 months to be able to buy new jeans & found darker denim doesn't suit me, or I just hate it. Tried 85,000 pairs in masses of shops, naaah.
Am I the only one to love light(er) denim?

Did make sense, lol, but at first I thought your theory is wrong.
I like navy and am wearing navy cardigan today. Also like light blue & just checked wardrobe to find have 4 times as many light blue tops than dark and figured out that, yes, it suits me better than dark blue.
Cod's denim rule is hereby declared valid.
