Can you stylish types help me to find a pair of emerald green evening shoes? Not too cripplingly high but enough of a heel to be elegant please!

I love that your name is Glinda (as in the good witch) and that you have the words emerald (as in city) and shoes (as in, ruby slippers) in your thread title.

Is this deliberate?

will look for shoes for you

Possibly too dark?

Thanks for looking for the shoes!
I am a huge fan of Wicked, the musical about the 2 witches of Oz. Emerald shoes are just a coincidence I am afraid . They should really be worn by Elpheba the green witch!

Maybe a little dark, but actually the colour would probably tone well. I think the dress needs a lighter shoe. It is above the knee and halter necked.
Thanks for trying

any good in green?

glinda Sun 14-Sep-08 18:22:23

Sorry, I mean lighter in weight!

ooh love them LTEC, but a bit too much blue in the green. I think that they would clash with the dress.
I will see if I can find the dress on line so I can try to post a link.

heel may be too low

LetThemEatCake Sun 14-Sep-08 18:32:46

yes, show us the dress! or take a photo and put it on your profile

Yup, pic of the dress would help. Still not seen Wicked - loved the book though and really want Son of a Witch now too.

could have these dyed to match

this is a really good copy of a Gina style. Once you're sick of the dress, can have them dyed black to wear with other things.
