Need advice on jeans - body shape has changed.....

I used to wear bootcut jeans before my dd was born when I was a pear shape (but nice and firm).... Now I have lost my bum and thighs are not as big as they used to be. But I have really got a flabby belly now.

Bootcut jeans no longer fit well as fit on waist but are baggy on thighs and bum now.

I am 5.2 foot and wear flat shoes alot so feel skinny jeans make me look very short unless tucked into boots. So thinking skinny jeans that are flared at the bottom would be best for me. But not low cut on the belly.

Does anyone know where I can get a good fitting pair of jeans? Or recommend a stly of jeans or brand that would be suitable for me?

Also would like a nice designer pair but not great with what brands to go for so advice welcome...

Ditto- I am a size 10 but have a roll of flab below my belly button! Low rise jeans just don't even zip up! Anyone suggest any makes that are just below the waist height, as a size 12 is always too big for me everywhere else!

how about buying some high waisted jeans? Gap are always good in my humble opinion

I bought a really great pair of jeans in Topshop yesterday and they sound like they might be good for you too.

I'm a size 12 but find that size 12 bootcut jeans are too baggy on the legs. Topshop make a pair of jeans called Eva which are skinny flares. I don't usually like flared jeans but these aren't too wide and are more like a bootcut. They really are very flattering on. I've never been so pleased with a pair of jeans before.

Fab pair of Eva jeans!

I haven't got those particular ones but have a pair of red herring jeans and they aren't too low cut on the waist.

Thanks for the advice, I think I will try on a few pairs, I really hope they fit well as hate baggy jeans that hang off my bum, but also hate flab hanging over the top of my jeans... lol

ok, been to top shop and tried on Eva jeans (skinny flare) and martha jeans (straight cut). I really like the fit on both pairs, only problem was my fat belly was hanging overabit and my hips were too...

But great fir on bum and legs. I still might buy them tho as have just bought slendertone off ebay so hopefully belly and hips will soon be better...

I will get to debenhams when I can to try on those other jeans, hopfully they will work for my belly...

Still would like a designer pair of jeans if anyone can recommend some...

I really like 7 for all mankind jeans as a designer jeans brand and you can't go wrong with Abercrombie and Fitch for a less designer alternative.

Glad you liked the Eva jeans Mamachat. They really are a good fit for those of us with legs a size smaller than our waists.

Just wanted to let you know that Grazia are doing a jeans special this week. You might find your perfect designer pair! Also, are you in or near London? Selfridges have a great selection of jeans.

a word of warning
the topshop martha jeans stretch and lose their shape around the waist and bum,so get a size down

took a pair back last week

My favourite label is Seven for all Mankind but they are ££££.
Just find the cut the most flattering of all the jeans I have owned, but I am very straight up and down so they might not be great for you?
