Hand cream

There was a long thread a while back about handcream. Can't remember which one came up top but I seem to think Clarins and The Body Shop ones were popular.

I thought I'd let people know that I've just bought the Boots protect and Perfect one and am really impressed. It's light and non-greasy and so far seems to be working well.

Has anybody else tried it?

Lol at Blue Nivea - my lovely nanna always used to have a pot of that in the house and the smell always reminds me of her.

MrsWoolf - I think it's new.

I was thinking of getting that hand cream with my voucher, as I need one soon.

I normally use the body shop one (almond one) and it's good.

Although someone bought this for me once and it is the best hand-cream I have ever used.

love body shop almond one and the hemp hand protector.

This one doesn't smell though, so gets my vote for that as well.

But why do you need TWO pots on your desk? One for each hand?

Aveda Hand Relief is nice, despite the trying- a-bit-too-hard-to-be-funny name.

Best hand cream by far is a great big tub of Aqueous cream (c. £1.50?) I have never had better hands than when I was covering DS2 in it 4 times a day for his eczema. Didn't help the eczema, but worked wonders on my hands.

But, I also love Blue Nivea. It is slightly quicker to rub in and the smell reminds me of holidays (best ever treatment for sun burn )

Crabtree and Evelyn do a two stage cream - first a sandpapery one and then a creamy one - it's lovely and even my disgustingly haggard hands look better for it.

I really don't like the smell of aqueous cream.

Aveda's comically named 'Hand Relief' is the best hand cream ever

rofl- I am like you for Nivea Califrau!
But I use it for my poor dried out lips, not hands! Multiple pots lurking all over my house, in my handbag, desk etc
I use Clarins for hands- it really is the best one ever!

I have discovered the Clinique moisture therapy hand cream and I am completely bowled over by it.
Not cheap however....find a friend with some and try it.That's how I cam accross it

Agree about Clinique - v impressive.

But why oh why is it so difficult to get handcream with SPF? Soft and dewy's no good to me if my hands are covered in liver spots.
