Going shoppng today to buy new clothes for my holiday. Thanks to another thread on MN I have discovered I should be looking for A line skirts. But I have no idea what this means
Its the shape of a capital letter A. So it skims your hips, disguises the old saddle bags (not that I'm suggesting you have any, you understand)Its v.v.flattering.
So its thnner at the top and flares out towards the bottom?
You've got it.
What kind of skirts were you wearing before?
I haven't worn skirts for ages. Not since I was a young pup out dancing my socks off every night! But I am much bigger now, baby weight that won't shift, so I'm trying to find clothes that will look OK on me.At the moment I'm going for the big and baggy look .. which isn't at all flattering
