Apparently we're all going to be wearing tunics (again) this autumn/winter

which is good for me because I have a fat everything bum. I have found this one which I like very much from ASOS as it is a bit structured, but most seem to be a bit too casual and kaftan-y.

Has anyone seen longish tunics that are more tailored and structured and a bit more workwear than 'chuck on over yer jeans or cossie-wear'?

Thanks.

Why not try a mini shift dress? I havent seen any in the shops, just an idea. A bit more tailored than your average sack smock

I like a bit of patternage (in fact am prevaricating over a brown and orange patterned one I saw in Tesco... but I figured everyone else will hate it because it is so LOUD so I'll have time to think before they all sell out)

But I like a bit more plain, tailored stuff for work.

Oh no, not tunics again. Will the pregnant look never go out of fashion? I'm done with that.

Tights
Cropped leggings

Ankle length leggings, and if so, what denier of legging?

Well according to whichever magazine I saw this shite in, this season it is not leggings, but trousers (yay!)

I need non-empire line, three-quarter sleeves and wide over the hips. And not violently patterned. Still looking.

those white stuff ones all have empire line though.

I look shite in anything with empire line or loose and flowing..I need body skimming but not clinging.

lol expat, I was going to say I'll be sticking to my usual a/w outfit of jeans and jumpers etc!

It might be different if I was out at work though.

It's got to be better than the current trend here in Montreal to wear JUST the leggings, with normal length tops (ie not long to cover offending bits). I don't care if you're 18 and a size 6, it's not a good look.

So do the whitestuff things come up quite small then? If I'm a 14 will I need a 16 as per New Look?
