if its pissing down or freezing cold then TOUGH you just have to suffer in the name of beauty

a shrug or cardi or jhacket would ruin the look of that dress

off to look for accs

caykon Mon 18-Aug-08 16:20:11

what shoes are you wearig, I would need to add some colour to a black dress like that

nailpolish Mon 18-Aug-08 16:22:00

FAQ Mon 18-Aug-08 16:22:48

ok - I'll suffer in the name of beauty - shouldn't be too much of an issue, will be taxi there and back, and will be inside for the night (and probably early morning too grin).

nailpolish Mon 18-Aug-08 16:23:41

opr sheos and bag!

nailpolish Mon 18-Aug-08 16:26:21

what kind of do is it FAQ

is it a party or is it a formal thingy

this is improtant as it determines the accs

FAQ Mon 18-Aug-08 16:27:05

caykon - they're black shoes I'm afraid - and can't really afford to splash out on extra accs and more shoes.....

FAQ Mon 18-Aug-08 16:33:19

Sister is very posh, went to Birmingham with DP when he had a meeting at work and "resisted" the temptation to buy the £1000 Versace dress in Selfridges "as she hadn't gone for shopping" shock

nailpolish Mon 18-Aug-08 16:39:25

clip on earrings

dont wear a necklace

itll ruin the look of the dress. you need bling chandelier earrings

FAQ Mon 18-Aug-08 16:43:19

nailpolish Mon 18-Aug-08 16:49:26

<<<Wonders if clip earrings from the likes of Argos or Hinds jewellers or the likes would be too awful>>>>> (we have the worst shopping you could ever imagine in our town - and I need the stuff by Friday)
