Please say yes as I think I am slowly getting the hang of this board and people are saying 'that's Ok' rather than 'geez you must be insane' sometimes grin

Bottom right, 'Abington'

we i dont, sorry
the frill panel is off putting reminds me of little girls long party dress circa mid 70's..

what about the one above? if you like brown etc..

motherinferior Sun 03-Aug-08 12:10:44

Yes, I do. It has distinct charm.

lilymolly Sun 03-Aug-08 12:10:55

oh no not for me! look like a school uniform!! but then I have no style grin

StellaWasADiver Sun 03-Aug-08 12:11:33

Sorry, I think it's pretty awful! It looks like a crochet bra over an otherwise-normal dress.

motherinferior Sun 03-Aug-08 12:11:41

I think it could look kookily vintage. You'll need to wear chunky footwear. I personally would go for flat boots.

MrsFluffleHasAWuffle Sun 03-Aug-08 12:12:02

Does it matter if we like it or not?! As long as you like it who cares what a bunch of people you'll likely never meet and don't know your body shape/style etc will think? hmm

amner Sun 03-Aug-08 12:12:40

Sorry, dont like it at all !

ExterminAitch Sun 03-Aug-08 12:13:53

if you think it'll suit you, then yes. my tits are too big for that front panel, but if you're alexa chung-y then it's charming.

Ah yes, my norks would rule it out too.

RuffleTheAnimal Sun 03-Aug-08 12:15:26

geez you must be insane

MarshaBrady Sun 03-Aug-08 12:15:41

No sorry, only as the crochet panels look like targets.

Flightputsonahat Sun 03-Aug-08 12:15:56

I care, Mrs Fluffle, I care wink

You lot are my only friends <sob>

Flightputsonahat Sun 03-Aug-08 12:17:09

I see what you mean about the target norks actually. But I really like knitted dresses for some reason, is there a better one out there, if so point me at it...

Flightputsonahat Sun 03-Aug-08 12:18:38

Dee one above sold out in any size near mine (10/12) sad

MarshaBrady Sun 03-Aug-08 12:21:46

Having a look, quite difficult to find one isn't it..

Flightputsonahat Sun 03-Aug-08 12:23:17

Thanks Marsha, yes avoiding the obv Boden selction!!

MarshaBrady Sun 03-Aug-08 13:01:45

had a quick look, not quite the same crochet but I suppose a bit vintagey.

LIZS Sun 03-Aug-08 13:03:35

no sorry , looks like an Edwardian maid

RuffleTheAnimal Sun 03-Aug-08 13:04:52

marshas second one is nice

Flightputsonahat Sun 03-Aug-08 15:45:03

Thanks for your help Marsha, they are quite nice - but I think I'm going to order the original one and see what it's like. You can order to collect from the shop which is free so that's cool smile

lazaroulovesleggings Sun 03-Aug-08 15:46:47

It's very Sharleen Spiteri and her new look.

Blondilocks Sun 03-Aug-08 19:20:08

I personally don't like it as I prefer more girly dresses, but it's not hideous or awful.
