OK, I know this isn't stylish nor beautiful but...

Has anyone seen those jackets, they're padded round the body, like a gilet or bodywarmer thingy but the sleeves aren't padded, they're sort of ribbed. I really want one for the winter because they look so warm for traipsing around in when I don't want to wear a big coat but I don't know what they're called and I can't find any online.

Does anyone have a clue what I'm talking about? hmm

I know what you mean - my nan used to have one for walking the dog.

Don't know what they're called though.

Haven't got a dog <sniff>

They can't be that bad. My very with it sister in law was wearing one last winter and I'm not so bothered about fashion as to mind one year out of date.

And no I can't ask her because she's half my age and half my size and I feel like a weeble next to her!

I'm thinking ahead Dee. You'll be sorry when our summer ends tomorrow afternoon and you're freezing yer knickers off!

My sister had one from <<whispers very quietly>> Per Una - it was cream, v nice and she wore it loads (no dog, just a DS!)
Think she either got it last year or the year before that! Don't know if they have name other than padded jacket with ribbed sleeves smile

I go for the hooded top under gilet look myself!

Thank you Ollie. Hoody/gilet here too usually but quite liked the jacket too.

<whispers back>

Will check it out...
