Do we like Dr Martens wedges or do we think they are doubtful?

Because there were some in the sale yesterday and I submitted.

They are red and the only kind of heels I could possibly ever wear without keeling over. And they are really comfy!

Here you go

They had these as well but are too tight and a bit wobbly so are going back sad

I have big old feet.

Gobbledigook Sat 02-Aug-08 08:27:25

First pair are OK.
Second pair are yucksville!

Cappuccino Sat 02-Aug-08 08:29:59

I love the first pair, have seen them before

not so keen on number 2

Flightputsonahat Sat 02-Aug-08 08:30:20

Oh dear sad

Perhaps both shoudl go back then?

ghosty Sat 02-Aug-08 08:31:05

Sorry, I think they are ugly.

MaryAnnSingleton Sat 02-Aug-08 08:31:06

no if you like them you must keep them - they're just a bit clog-ish for me...must be the rivets

Flightputsonahat Sat 02-Aug-08 08:31:26

Ooh Capp likes them grin

Goody.

Flightputsonahat Sat 02-Aug-08 08:32:50

I know Mary Ann, I am not struck with the rivets either but they kind of diminish in use iyswim, don't really see them when on.

It is the comfort and the solidity and the fact they had them in my size that I like blush

Very nicely made I have to say. That is something I care about a lot with shoes.

Flightputsonahat Sat 02-Aug-08 08:33:22

Plus they make me taller again and I haven't felt tall for years!! smile

Cappuccino Sat 02-Aug-08 08:34:23

I have no taste though sorry

I am the last person to ask

Flightputsonahat Sat 02-Aug-08 08:35:07

StellaWasADiver Sat 02-Aug-08 08:48:21

The first pair are FAB. I have them in black (for work) and am considering them in tan... how much did you pay and where from? They are £33 on Amazon.

Not keen on the second pair.

Flightputsonahat Sat 02-Aug-08 09:43:23

Ooh! grin

I feel all happy again now smile

Stella, I got them in Qube yesterday, it was the last pair on the sale shelf and they were £35 - not as cheap as Amazon but no postage I suppose.

Am taking the in today to try and get a bit more off as one of the buckles has a bit missing, might be able to get it fixed at a repair shop if they haven't another pair.

I like the tan ones as well, actually - but these will do for now! Might dye them later if I get fed up with looking like Dorothy.

I want some <googling>smile

constancereader Sat 02-Aug-08 09:56:43

I like them.

But then I wear Art Sandals hmm

My neice won't walk down the street with me when I am wearing them.

forevercleaning Sat 02-Aug-08 09:57:50

love doc martens - practically live in them and converse, but soz don't like those wedges and the 2nd pair are even worse!

meep Sat 02-Aug-08 09:58:06

love the red ones!

What are Art Sandals constancereader?

Ready4anotherCoffee Sat 02-Aug-08 09:59:27

love these too...grin

DontCallMeBaby Sat 02-Aug-08 10:07:57

I like the first pair so much I bought them twice (a black pair and a tan pair; I love the red but played it safe). Really comfortable, and I get to be taller - result.

I don't like the second pair, that heel somehow doesn't do it for me.

Art sandals, meep, (I have a pair of these too; my name is DCMB and I LIKE CLUMPY SHOES).
