you can make something very stylish from dead cluster flies and a pritt stick.

Cardboard box? They come in all kinds of sizes and colours these days. And they are fully recyclable especially after rain.

The French House [sorry, unable to do links as I'm a complete ignoramus on the computer] does a very nice wire bottle carrier, which I think would look very stylish on your lovely step.

This?

EffiePerine Fri 01-Aug-08 16:42:57

won't a poncy wire carrier get nicked?

Does this really come under 'style and beauty'?

Non

Property/DIY??
WOuld also look at the French HOuse, is suitably ponce-tastic Malory

pointydog Fri 01-Aug-08 17:37:32

Product is where it belongs.

But you'd prob only get two responses if you were lucky.

Dragonbutter Fri 01-Aug-08 17:44:26

Malory, I have the same poncetastic problem. The difficulty is getting the milkman to comply with your style and beauty. I've tried putting out a tray with the empties on it, but he just takes the empties and puts the full bottles next to it. He's probably trying to make a point and I'm not planning on pursuing the matter.

And the slug that came in this morning with the milk bottle and made it onto the breakfast table obviously doesn't know about the rules either.

Saggarmakersbottomknocker Fri 01-Aug-08 17:44:58

I need your crate. My milkman has to leave ours on a stack of house bricks as we have a little fecker hedgehog who keeps snaffling it.

I wouldn't dare leave anything costing £22.50 on me front step shock

Saggarmakersbottomknocker Fri 01-Aug-08 17:46:30

Bleurg at slug. Tis the one good thing about said hedgehog - he eats the slugs...washed down by my organic semi-skimmed.

Ours left us one for free after we used to leave our bottles in a plastic basket! Have looked online but can't find the same as we have!

fatzak Fri 01-Aug-08 18:51:45

Nothing like ours but www.milksafe.co.uk/

The French House is my dirty little secret. Have spent a fortune there.
