If a woman wears head to toe orange, always, are they a Buddhist?

Can't think of anyother reason why someone would always wear orange - can you?

MrsBadger Tue 29-Jul-08 12:22:29

I don't think it;s confined to Buddhism - don't some Hindu holy men etc wear saffron clothes?

maybe she went and got her colours "done" and has taken it to the extreme?

DrNortherner Tue 29-Jul-08 12:23:48

Hmmm. Orange is quite a hard colour to find though isn't it? If you alwasy want to wear orange?

belgo Tue 29-Jul-08 12:23:49

maybe she is dutch. Orange is very popular in Holland.

DrNortherner Tue 29-Jul-08 12:24:18

She is deffo not Dutch!

cremolafoam Tue 29-Jul-08 12:24:52

IAmNotHere Tue 29-Jul-08 12:25:00

Are you sure it wasn't Jodie Marsh?
She is usually nekid, and orange.

QuintessentialShadows Tue 29-Jul-08 12:27:33

oooh. When I was young a friend of mine would ALWAYS were black only. A professor at the university would ALWAYS wear white only. She had a philosophical reason, well, so did he. They did not see eye to eye, but they were a damn sight on the bus stop together in the morning, casting snotty glances at eachother.

As for wearing orange? is it NORMAL orange clothes, like orange jeans and orange leather jacket, or orange flowing garments...?

Maybe she just likes orange.

FrannyandZooey Tue 29-Jul-08 12:31:36

I know 2 people who always wear purple
one of them has purple hair and a purple house and a purple bike, also
I have a suspicion she is not entirely the full box of crayons

Carmenere Tue 29-Jul-08 12:33:45

Don't the Hari Krishnas were orange?

TigerFeet Tue 29-Jul-08 12:36:03

not the full box of crayons, no. Just the purple ones

Orange can be a... difficult... colour to wear, can't it?

ThePettyandIllinformedGoat Tue 29-Jul-08 12:36:12

is she an ulster unionist?

Lionstar Tue 29-Jul-08 12:39:40

The sannyasin sect wear orange and follow the infamous Indian guru Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. I thought the following had declined since various scandals and the gurus death, but you never know!

TigerFeet Tue 29-Jul-08 12:42:50

Is she perhaps, like my good self, a fan of Blackpool Football Club? They play in orange tangerine. I used to go to matches dressed top to to in tangerine. It did not suit me.

DrNortherner Tue 29-Jul-08 14:05:36

PMSL at som eof these suggesstions. Her clothes are normal orange clothes, ie orange trews and an orange blouse with orange trainers. Although written down that does not sound very normal. I did not even know orange trainers existed.

She also has VERy long hair always worn in a plait.

IAmNotHere Tue 29-Jul-08 14:15:07

Are you certain she isn't a strange breed of Oompa Loompa? A sort of albino, but, er, orangino?

Do you sometimes say to her, "You're looking pale today, a bit washed out" then piss yourself laughing? I know I would.

[bad person]

DrNortherner Tue 29-Jul-08 14:16:53

Well she is not orange, just her clothes. And she is not 3 foot tall grin

Her kid wears other colours though and her car is not orange. Mind you, orange cars are a bit rare are they not? Do they actually exist?

sherby Tue 29-Jul-08 15:31:51

is this her?

My2Monkeys Thu 31-Jul-08 09:56:17

PMSL at this thread - thanks everyone!

Did some research of my own, and this is what I came up with, looking for orange women:

Even more scary!

But I finally think I got it: IS THIS HER??? Or perhaps her mother - maybe it's genetic?

Monty100 Thu 31-Jul-08 14:48:16

She's been tangoed?
